From what I've read, it's like a continuous cycle. It takes about 30-45 minutes to cook it and the high only lasts like 1 to 2 hours. So as soon as the high is over they start cooking more.

Don't know if this has been posted before, but I first saw this right as I was listening to One More Red Nightmare. Freaky shit. I'm pretty excited.

Yeah, I saw that earlier..pretty cool, but where's Adrian Belew?

So I chose to go see Raven over Christian Death last night and I'm glad I did. They really destroyed and everyone should go see them if htey come to your area. The turnout was a bit weak, unfortunately. People just don't know! THey still refuse to play my favourite songs though :D
got to talk with mark Gallagher for a bit and he was really friendly and seemed to be having a great time.

Christian Death with Valor at the helm????
He's one of the most hated guys in the goth scene, and turned that band into a joke.....
It's only Rozz-era Christian Death for me.

I'm pumped to see Raven play here with Diamond Head next month.

I'm only familiar with the debut and it isn't really even one of my favourite goth albums to be honest. I was going to go to support my friend's band, who were opening the show, but I ditched 'em. I don't actually know who was fronting the band...my friend said something about a dutch woman but I'm not really sure what he was talking about.

Oooh, that's going to be fantastic. Sad I missed the Diamond Head show in Toronto last spring.

For once a tour actually goes through Reno that isn't some Punk or Hardcore band! I can't wait for it.

Yeah, there's that tour and Saxon two days later, with Gwar four days after that..... I look forward to the resulting poverty I'm going to be faced with next month :-D

The first 3 Christian Death CDs with Rozz Williams were great. Nice surrealist stuff fans of Bauhaus/Virgin Prunes should dig.
Valor and his Dutch girlfriend turned it into a cheesy shock rock group.....

Christian Death are long gone and this isn't the same type of being long-gone as Slayer calling it quits after "Seasons in the Abyss." :fuck:

I downloaded and listened to Blues for Allah once, but the mp3s had some serious skipping issues, so I deleted them. While the music wasn't bad or anything it didn't have a lot of staying power for me either. It didn't make me want to check out any of their other stuff.

It's all in the live shows! If you want the real Grateful Dead experience download a live show from the early/mid 1980s. The best production quality in my opinion and the best playing. They were in top form in those days!

Here is my favorite live show by the Dead. It's from 1983 and it took place in Boise, Idaho. Whenever I'm with any of my friends who like Dead I put this show on, we all love it.

The best thing about Dead live shows is that they are all available for free legally on sites like archive.org. That's where the link above is from.

These are great quality audio files and they do not skip. The fact that your only problems were skipping, and the studio album because the studio albums are very basic and have in my opinion a lot less substance than the live shows. That's when the band really came alive.

The new Carcass sucks and I don't know how anyone could think it's good (referring to the reviews for it, which are just sparkling fellation for it). That is all.

Whoever said that the old Carcass is back... I don't even know what to think of them. All I have to say is that the intro to Surgical Steel fucking scared me.

Just an observation entirely free of sarcasm. I haven't heard the Surgical Steel in full, so I withhold judgement. That is all.

Whenever an old death metal group makes a comeback, they MUST add irritating melodeath riffs and clicky drums.......

That's kinda been a rule since 2000.....

Ah, really? Shit....that explains everything because you kind of summed up the new Carcass album in that single sentence.

You need to recalibrate your sarcasm detector, it's getting false positives.

I don't really think it's amazing, but it's not bad enough to warrant several posts about in such a short span of time. I think SS is pretty unremarkable as far as Carcass albums go. But then again you're the type of person who brings up unrelated bands to try and make some kind of passive aggressive point, so I guess I can just not take you seriously at all.

Do you think the band Carcass warrants several posts? I think they do, because they used to be a good band. And I was extremely disappointed with Surgical Steel. EXTREMELY, I was expecting old Carcass, what I got was nothing of the kind. Well I guess I should say I was hoping for old Carcass, especially based on their superb MDF 2013 performance, but as I said, it was not even remotely close. As for me "bringing up unrelated bands to try and make some kind of passive aggressive point", do I really do this? How do you know? At least you got my point anyway.

DrummingEdge is basically the antithesis of Carcass - we haven't heard from him in months but we've heard a lot about Carcass. (we don't have a waving smiley so this will have to do)
