Hi. Since the new activity periods came into place obviously the "Changed name to..." lines in the additional notes have become superfluous and should be removed (I think the staff is in full agreement with me there). Thing is, I'd like to do it, but I suck at using Google to find those entries. It would be cool if there could be a list of bands with such an entry like there is a list of artists with bands they play(ed) in in their additional notes. Is that possible?

You're welcome.

Secondly, if you're gonna go on a hunt, please make sure you're not removing stuff like precise dates of name changes, or the band's reasons why.

It's acceptable to leave something like "Changed name to Beta Drone after discovering a band of the same name" or "Changed name to I Did Fuck Xasthur in July 2007". :)

And you says that metal is about the riffs, that is bollocks, cause then black and death bands wouldn't get accepted, cause the play termolo-riffs.
