Hell no. I looked for originals and they were over $100 each. While it would be nice to own the originals, I'm not shelling out that money, so the re-releases are fine. :)

I've wanted to know, how long does it usually takes for shipping orders from overseas to arrive to you, Europe to NA and vice-versa, or anywhere to Australia and NZ? I want to know because my hauls, be it from the USA or Europe, always take more than 1 month to arrive and I've been wondering if it is that slow in other places too.

I live in Ontario, Canada, and it doesn't seem to matter whether I order from America, Germany or Japan, it all ends up here in around 2-3 weeks, sometimes shorter, sometimes longer. (unless the post fucks up and it just vanishes into the ether, which is occasionally a problem). Early this year, I ordered something from a band based in Russia, and the thing took forever and a day to arrive.

I live in the US, and my orders from Europe usually arrive 1-2 weeks after being shipped, but I'm on the east coast of the US, so that's probably why it's that quick from Europe.

Eastern countries must use some kind of snail mail with real snails because that also happens here. I've ordered stuff from the Eastern block and they took weeks (in some cases over a month) to arrive. And we're talking about land mail within a continent! From North America to Europe takes usually 7-10 days do arrive, depending on the place I'm buying and the time of the year I'm in. I've received stuff within as little as a full week (so five working days), so it really depends.

Got four things today:

Judas Priest - British Steel LP
It's an original promo copy, only $7!

Exhumed - All Guts, No Glory CD
Listened to this on the way home. Not as great as I expected, but still an awesomely brutal piece of death metal.

Lake of Tears - The Crimson Cosmos CD
........ not at all what I was expecting. It's WAY more upbeat than I thought. I usually trust all of Autothrall's reviews, but I think I may have been fooled by his review of this album. :P

Darkthrone - Soulside Journey LP
Peaceville reissue. One of my favorite album covers!

Been blasting the latest arrivals all day long, they sure as hell allow me to do that given their "small" running time.

Reverend Bizarre - In The Rectory Of The Bizarre Reverend (2CD with Return To The Rectory EP)
Reverend Bizarre - II: Crush the Insects

Yeah, that's about three and a half hours of "apocalyptic doom metal"! :D

Nice Androdion!!!!!

Got these at Vertigo Records today while I was visiting Ottawa, very good prices. 9 bucks for both Blood Geometry and QOTSA and 10 for Nasum (2 CDs compilation). Pic taken at my camping!

Thanks Tony! I guess Doomsday should be grinning somewhere too. :D

Good luck with Grind Finale, you're definitely going to need some in order to listen to all of it. I love Nasum but that compilation is just a complete overkill!
