NEWS FROM ASTRUM AS IT ARRIVES. Check the LAST post and move up.


This was created a couple of months ago, a "new" CD from ASTRUM that is a remastering of the first 2 demos onto CD, called "Shadows of the Past". It was made from the original cassettes, as the material was recorded on a 4 track cassette recorder. So, the quality isn't great, but it's clear enough, and decent sounding.

If you'd like me to send you a free CD of this, please reply with your mailing address and I will mail it out as soon as possible, and please submit a review of it on the band page.

ASTRUM played it's first show, the Halloween Hell party. We played the full 10 song live set. We plan to play some venues before the year is out. More shows next year, and perhaps a new album as well.

This is the first 3 songs, there are 3 more clips so far, I may put some more up.
We are still considering getting a vocalist, I have someone in mind, but untill then, I'll just do it.

Some new updates!
ASTRUM is now a 4 piece, with a new vocalist, a female by the name of Jenocide.
The style continues with the punk metal first wave sound, though the new vocal does give it a different sound in that area, maybe calling forth a comparison to Sacrilege UK?

We plan to record a new release this year. Material is complete on paper.

Jan 7th at Lisa's Oak St, Lounge in Louisville, will be our first real show, we did do a private party before, and on this show we will be opening for Tombstalker, and Abominant.

Astrum played it's first live show, last Saturday, at the New Years Evil show, with Abominant, and The Stonecutters. It was well received. This show also introduced our new vocalist.

ASTRUM is set to play 2 live shows in Louisville, KY. The Mayhem in May show on May 19th, and another show on June 24th.
We are working on a new album, which should be out this year.
Lineup is Jenocide on vocals, Timpaler on bass, A.Tomic on drums, and Drew Blood on guitar.
