I want to build a Home Studio and I need a good microphone that i will use to record various noises, non-amplified instruments such as an acoustic guitar, a piano, a violin and harsh vocals that a pretty loud.

Something that is of good quality, since i'll use it for long time, that doesn't looses sound quality when i scream really loud and sounds clear and limpid.

Someone got some recommendation?

You generally can't go wrong with an SM57 if you're looking for a dynamic microphone. There are also built like tanks - the only times I've even seen an SM57 break is when a drummer whacked it with a stick while using them as a drum mic. You can generally find a used SM57 on craigslist in the $50 range if budget is an issue.

I use SM57s in my home studio for mic'ing my guitar cab and vocals and I'm really pleased with it.

If you have the money, get an AKG 414.

SM57/58 are good budget mics. 57 tends to be better for instruments while the 58 is suited for vocals. You can probably find both used for the same price as one new.

I use a Rhode NT1-A for vocals and I've been very happy with it. It comes with a nice pop filter and suspension mount, too, for around 200 bucks total.

And I'll second the SM57. A drummer breaking one is really odd and rare - you can literally run over them with a car and half the time they'll still work.

I personally just bought the Sennheiser 835. It's competition to the Shure SM58, and has a hotter output. Plus the screen over the diaphragm is better. Same price as the Shure.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I bought mine specifically for live vocals. The SM57 is good for instruments mostly. Get the 835 and SM57 and you'll be set for live, pretty much. lol

You want an SM 57.

If you want something to mic a guitar cab and have a bit more bite to it, try the Sennheiser e609.

If you can afford it, get an AKG 414.
