Goddamn, it never gets old. EVER! Touching yooooooou 'cause you're touching meeee!

This was the first song I heard by the band back in 2003 (it was the music video, and oh my what a way to be memorable), and it's still one I play every now and then. I like "Growing On Me" more, but this one's also untouchable hard rock.

Get Your Hands Off My Woman is, and always will be, my favourite tune by them, but Growing On Me also rocks. Have you heard their new album? Seriously rocks.

Alice In Chains - Stone.

No I haven't. I believe you asked me that same question 2 years ago when Hot Leg's album was the "newest" from anything Hawkins was involved in.

Yeah, I remember that. *laughs* For the record, that Hot Leg album still kicks ass.

They just put one out last year. Check it out, man. It's called Hot Cakes.

Be'lakor - In Parting

Disma - Chasm of Oceanus

This song is badass. Crushing slow death metal riffing and Pillard on vocals. I have a feeling this album will get played more than once tonight.

Sonata Arctica - Wildfire, Part II - One With the Mountain

This is a really, really bottom-heavy album. The opening track rules, immediately followed by 4 so-so bits, and then it just comes ALIVE and gets better and better with each passing song. Overall rock solid, though.

I think every song is good. It's one of their stronger albums really; mature, individual and fun.

Converge - Drop Out

Feral and loud as fuck...awesome.

Tormented - Death Awaits

While the production here is much better than the previous one, the riffs aren't as good and the vocals are crap. Too audible
I don't want to easily hear every word of your stupid lyrics.
Still decent Death Metal though

Nutrition- Dusk of the Hunter I. Kinda like industrialised Dimmu Borgir. Good riffs though and pretty intense vocals. At times reminds me a bit of Battles in the North, riff wise.

Woe - This Is the End Story

Can US black metal be badass? Well, this is certainly the end of that story. The riffing fucking rules. The clean vocals are jarring, but in a good way. Withdrawal is a good album, check it out.

Rotting Christ- Κατά τον δαίμονα εαυτού. First listen to this; surprisingly good study music. Love their almost martial style, straight ahead geometric blast beats with that eerie eastern atmosphere....

Galaktik Cancer Squad - Bitter kriecht das Leben

I'm really liking this band, instrumental progressive black metal. Really nice sounds.

Deceptor - Chains Of Delusion

If all new thrash bands were this good. Awesome riffs, great vocals, stellar songcraft.

The Wandering Midget - Urk the Conqueror

I loved this band from the first song I heard many years ago, and this band is definnetly among my favorite ''Doom'' bands. The vocals are just awesome!

The newest Enslaved album is great!

Now Playing:

Behemoth - He Who Breeds Pestilence

Long time since I have listened to this album, but it's quite good! Warming up to the concert in a few weeks.

Dethklok - Crush the Industry

This album, on the other hand, I have heard. And it is awesome.

Obscure Infinity - From The Bleak Spots To Infinity

Really cool local band. Fine early 90s style old school bm, like a mix between Soulside Journey and classic swedeath. Dig it.

Satan - Incantations, off Life Sentence

It's a total pain in the ass to choose a favourite tune from this album, but if I was forced to select one, then it'd be this one. It's perfect.

Paradise Lost - Enchantment, of the Draconian Times MMXI live DVD.

This better be something worth hearing. After having heard The Anatomy of Melancholy I wasn't so sure about Paradise Lost's live material. Who knows though, this might change my opinion.

Helloween - Kill It

For some reason it is easier for me to get into the later Helloween albums than the earlier ones. I still haven't hears Straight Out of Hell yet, though.

This is pretty okay. Nice riffing...hope there's faster stuff later on the album though.

Hexvessel - I Am The Ritual

One or two instrumentals less on "Dawnbearer" would have made this one better, but otherwise a very nice debut. Kvohst's vocals alone make this a worthwhile experience... even though they work even better on Code's albums.

Blood Red Throne - Come Death

Sorta techy death without forgetting the golden rule of all death metal: solid heavy riffing.

Crushing album, through and through. Definitely can't get enough of this band.

NP: Demolition Hammer - Crippling Velocity
Killer thrash. Love the riffs around 1:53 and into the guitar solos. :headbang: I can't believe they broke up in 1994. I would love to hear this live.
