Type O Negative - Set Me On Fire

I keep trying to listen to something other than Typo, but nothing else is doing it today. Oh well.
So hypnotic.

Stagnant Waters - Of Salt and Water

Revisiting this since I didn't give it the proper listens it deserved when it first came out. But with a thunderstorm looming over the distance, I feel this is the perfect time to truly appreciate it.

Vulvagun - The Black Pyramid

Getting back in the mood for this again...heavy as hell and ridiculously epic. Gives me a whole new reason to love underground, independent bands. They can just do whatever they want.

The Ruins of Beverast - Foulest Semen of the Sheltered Elite

First time listening and ... I'm officially floored.

To think I actually managed to avoid this band through all these years.

"Alright, you primitive screwheads, listen up... see this? This... is my BOOMSTICK!"

Great sample use at the beginning.

Ofermod - Undead Moon

This is fucking amazing, I just discovered this band and I can safely say they'll become one of my favorite black metal acts. Amazing stuff

I edited the name of the thread, I REALLY want this to be enforced, a one line comment like mine is sufficient and easy enough.

Congrats. :) Fair warning, if you're anything like me it'll grow on you, and hard.

NP: Ellie Goulding - "My Blood"

Finally picked up a copy of the new album today. This is pretty cool, the instrumentation is less monochromatic than it was on Lights. I'm picking up some Adele-type vocal lines, and some of the washes of pretty melodies remind me of Lana Del Rey. Pretty fucking sweet so far, I'm not sure how many pop fans are on this forum but I highly recommend this to those of you out there.

Oh yeah, that one is just insane. Great stuff.

Queensryche - No Sanctuary

Mellow, reflective and somehow really metal despite all that.

Queensryche - Promised Land

I've probably heard this album all of 2 times. One in 2009 and again in 2011. I didn't like it as much as I am liking it now. It's got some duds like the opener and the song thereafter, but it's got some standouts like that dark as hell title track and "Bridge".
