I was really wanting to write a song in tribute to Jeff Hanneman, since Slayer is the entire reason I started playing guitar again, and writing/recording music. I was curious if anyone else was planning on doing something similar, or maybe we could do a metal archives tribute to Jeff with a bunch of songs.

Neat idea, but no. Slayer wasn't even a big influence on me by any means.

Well, I'd love to, I like Slayer, but I am not in a level that allows me to play something similar to them in power and speed :/

We could just cover a bunch of slayer songs instead of writing a worship track.

I'm fixing to be out of town until the 26th, but I can record a really shitty quality bass track for The Antichrist.
