http://www.metal-archives.com/report/view/id/427978/

So the above report/rant is the latest of three by someone claiming to be the drummer of Skulltula. His panties are in a twist because he wants the band removed from the website entirely, since we apparently didn't ask the band's permission to list them on our site.

I realize this is childish bullshit, and that the page is staying around, but instead of closing out this report only to have him open yet another one, I'm wondering if one of the higher-ups can respond to the report. Perhaps a response from a staff member will curb his bullshit.

Shouldn't a mod still remove their band picture, and nothing else? Requests for removals of artist pictures are granted, so shouldn't that apply to group shots, too?

That's a tough one. We remove pictures in the case where the picture is not linked with the band or produced for the band, with the exception of some personal artist pages where the artist has taken a concerted effort to remove their picture from the Internet. Truth be told, we don't whitewash history, and we don't whitewash otherwise valid band pictures.
