Lucky to get the Demo IV yourself then, great release!
I really like the artwork/layout on it.

And, where did you get the new Trist tape? I want...!

Great release indeed! :)

You can order the Trist tape via:

Deathgasm Records - Destruction Of The Heavenly Realms, Volume VIII (Came with the Azarath CD)

I've got a whole pile of these things just sitting around... Not a terrible sampler, but still.

I enjoy it. I've honestly never heard of any of any of these bands from the sampler (apart from Azarath), and after listening to the songs, I ended up not hating any of them.

They should send out some of the other volumes instead of just that one. :P

Yesterday I picked up:

Aura Noir - Out to Die
Dismember - Like an Everflowing stream

Very pleased with both of these. Aura Noir was a complete blind purchase. I knew a few things ABOUT the band, but had never heard a single note. Great stuff, loving the Cronos-esque vocals on some of the tracks.

This is my first Dismember purchase since January of 2009 when I got The God That Never Was. I loved it and told myself I would dive more into their back-catalogue. Took me over four years to get around to it, but I think this one is great. Looks like lots of people around here tend to agree.

Indeed. Dismember´s LAES its one of my all time favourite swedish death metal albums (from one of my all time fave dm bands :P) Great stuff. Now go listen to Indecent & Obscene and Massive Killing Capacity and get ear raped with awesomeness.

Wow, long week, it's taken me this long to catalogue my new stuff
The security course I'm doing owns it :metal:

Grabbed this lot last Sunday

Metal
Anaal Nathrakh ‎– The Codex Necro [my first AN album pretty awesome stuff, I heard Pandemonic Hyperblast years ago and dug it, it's on this album, they have 8 albums now?!]
Anthrax ‎– Return Of The Killer A’s [AUS version, cool!]
Faith No More ‎– Angel Dust [Aus, 'red square' [Russia] picture on the disc version, nice!]
Impiety ‎– Formidonis Nex Cultus [slipcase/jewel case version, killer stuff, I paid a bit too much but it's worth it]
Machine Head ‎– The Blackening [AUS version]
Mastodon ‎– The Hunter [AUS version, not bad, track 11 is good]
Melvins ‎– Ozma / Gluey Porch Treatments [basically two albums on one disc, nice]
Nashgul ‎– Humanicidio [Spanish Grindcore? pretty gnarly CD it's compilation of all their split EPs]
Phobia ‎– Grind Your Fucking Head In
Sacred Reich ‎– Still Ignorant (1987-1997) [wicked, I thought this was a compilation till I got it home and played it]
Slayer ‎– World Painted Blood [AUS version in a plain jewel case, I have the Digipak with bonus DVD too]
Tormented ‎– Graveyard Lust [not quite Rotten Death good but still good]

Unmetal
IN•DK ‎– Kill Whitey! [Hardcore]
Lard ‎– Power Of Lard EP [AUS version, repress, first time I've heard these guys... different, not really metal either]
Marilyn Manson ‎– Smells Like Children [I quite enjoy a bit of MM, this is the only CD I own though]

The non metal stuff is listed on the blog too

That looks awesome. Are they worth checking out?

Based on the cover alone, I would say yes. Similar artists (I believe?) would be Communion, Perversor, Wrathprayer and the like. Definitely my kind of thing.

If you like the Black/death/thrash stuff like the aforementioned bands, you MUST. From my personal collection, I recommend these ones as well:

Force of Darkness/Bestial Mockery

Force of Darkness - S/T

Perdition

Ammit

Why not? Pentagram (Chile)

It was new so it was full whack @ $29.99, I won some cash at the casino so just grabbed it :nods:
Isn't it interesting how almost every Impiety album has a different line-up, like Incantation...

Holy crap! That's pretty pricey! And the slipcase version is basically the regular version! Excellent purchase regardless.

And yeah, the band is basically Shyaithan and whoever his hired guns are at the time. It seems the next album (or at least the EP) may have the same lineup as the last one though. Maybe he finally got tired of moving around lol.

I'd had my eye on it for ages in the shop [waiting for a sale] but I couldn't wait forever.
That's NZD too by the way which is about 19EUR or $25 USD
I do prefer to get jewel cases versions and will pay more to get them over any Digipaks or weirdo packaging

Someone posted a photo of all their Impiety stuff on their FB page a while ago, maaaaaaan that was a big collection!

Some of the guys in Thailand have insane collections. There's a guy in Thailand (I think) who has so much stuff that Shyaithan himself referred me to him for questions about different pressings and such. Quite envious of those maniacs. I myself have maybe ~40 to 45 pieces in my collection, not counting merch. I could have more, but I don't need every different colour of LP lol. One of each pressing/edition is enough for me. Some would say too much...

Recent CD scores:

Nocturnus - The Key
Acid Bath - When the Kite String Pops
Necrophobic - Darkside

(all firstpresses)

Ancient Rites - The Diabolic Serenades (Mascot records repress)

Got all those for 20 Euros. The guy just wanted to get rid of 'em because he stopped listening to metal. He also added an interesting throw-in: Acid Bath's Edits EP. You could say I took everything and ran away with it.

Also, later that day at MC concert:

Mournful Congregation - The Monad of Creation
Angelcorpse - Exterminate

Now I don't need to buy any CDs for a while. Until next week or so.

Just bought Eucharist's Mirrorworlds and found an original copy of Dark Tranquillity's Minds Eye that I have to go back to buy later because the lady couldn't find the disc.

Fuckin awesome my wife just walked in the house and handed me the new Soilwork The Living Infinite and my Tvangeste Damnation of Regiomontum, that she intercepted a few days ago, for my birthday woohoo lots of awesome stuff this week!
