its pretty good! its time i finally know all of Darkthrones stuff so i am going to go through it all

I'm going to do an all-day Darkthrone marathon at some point this week. Their middle-era stuff is pretty good, don't be afraid to venture into the late 1990s/2000s era. I'd consider Panzerfaust their last "classic" though.

I think that's an awesome Idea! I think I might do the same! over some beers and some chiverly! (pc game)

Supplicium - Saltatio Mortis(Macabre Ritual)

More great French black metal with killer song writing, and some blistering fury.

Convulse - Years Of Decay
The album Reflections is much more death 'n' roll than their previous full-length album. Someone should add that genre to their entry. I can't because my rank isn't high enough.

NP: Dawn of Ashes [Anathema, 2013] - 2. A Breathing Holocaust (02:19/04:10) {192 kbp/s}

Looks like Genocide Chapters' melodic black metal was a one off; this is pretty much the aggrotech of the earlier albums

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days OST - Vector to the Heavens

This just reminds me why 358/2 Days was the best spin-off game in the series: The final boss (Riku doesn't count, he's just there for story completion) was actually a moral and emotional conflict, rather than the typical "there's the bad guy, break his face" final boss the series throws at you.

Falkenbach - The Heathenish Foray

I think, on the whole, I prefer the newer version of this song - the album itself is superb, however. It feels the most sincere of the ones I've listened to so far.

Demons & Wizards - Heaven Denies

Sounds like some of the better Iced Earth tracks, with different vocals. Surprised I never heard anything off this project before.

Seance: Laid To Rest
Seance: Salt Rubbed Eyes
Seance: Awaking of the Gods
The Haunted: The Haunted

Since I started playing Max Payne 3 more I've had even more time to listen to some sweet tunage and really just absorb it even more than while I surf the web, since the web is boring me for the most part.

Mithras - Psyrens

The DM aspect of this band is allright, but goddamn, the spacey atmospheric parts are incredible.

Undergang - Indhentet af Døden

Serious no-frills, no bullshit death metal, BUT one that has real songs and crushing brutality, in a murky, filthy morass of riffs and bone shattering drums.

I came in here to post this exact album. Great minds think (and listen) alike.

Backyard Mortuary - Macabre Butchery

This is some damn good Aussie death metal whose music is much darker, and intense than their (I believe) rather silly moniker will have you believe. Impressive stuff!

The Redshift by Omnium Gatherum.

hells_unicorn's latest string of OG reviews made me want to check out this band again. Listened to New World Shadows once and didn't think much of it. "Nail" on this album though is so far pretty good.

Fates Warning - Fata Morgana

Probably my favorite John Arch-period song.

Mournful, evocative, sentimental..... Sublime.

Varathron - Cassiopeia's Ode. The best and most 'hellenic' band portraying this sound coming from Greece IMO.
