One of the most underrated bands of all time. I honestly have no idea why more people don't know these guys. They're far more catchy and coherent than a band like Dream Theater, and I'd also say they're more brilliant (if not more technically skilled).

It's definitely a weird tag, but the sound of Inter Arma is quite tricky to pin down. Don't ask me though, I will probably tag it as something like "progressive post metal sludge with some tiny bits of black metal fused into it".

I am really digging this new album. The last three had their moments, but I feel like the project really hit it's stride here. No guitars or bass just a highly distorted dulcimer, drums and black metal vocals that range from Inquisition like croaks to anguished screams. It has a beauty to it's strange sound yet it's still harsh enough to deserve it's metal tag. Apparently it's too metal for the archives
