Not exactly what im looking for. I know all these bands and been a fan of them for a long time.

I'm looking for something that is groovy, brutal, and kinda Death 'n' Rolly. Like Debauchery but more Death Metal, like Entombed but with a more brutal newer sound., like Benediction but a little less old school. Listen to the song A Violent Scene of Death by Torture Killer, that's type of stuff I'm looking for.

Jungle Rot and Baphomet/Banished might do the trick.

I've known Jungle Rot for a while, not a big fan of Hardcore (punk) style vocals on Death Metal (I do like Hardcore punk though).
I'm digging some of Pungent Stench's stuff though, can't believe i haven't heard of them, and sucks they broke up.

If you want death 'n' roll, the only band you need is Entombed. The rest of the genre isn't half as good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwuWzIq6kwg

If you just want some groovy death metal, try Undergang: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGUSSeNgL9I

Not exactly in the style of SFU and TK but these newcomers do have some great grooves in their death metal.

Blood Red Throne, perhaps. Definitely has the groove, but maybe not the kind you're looking for.

If you enjoy Illdisposed give Konkhra and Iniquity a go.

Also if you aren't averse to slam Kraanium's Post Mortal Coital Fixation is one of the grooviest things i have heard recently.

How about this? Riffage starts at 0:35, so don't get put off by the Irish trad intro.

Not bad, reminds of Lamb of God. But not what I'm looking for.

Is Dominus what you mean? Perhaps not quite 'funky' enough, but they definitely fit the death n' roll + brutal part.

UK band Innards may be of interest. They were friends of mine back in the day so I have a bit of a soft spot for them, but to me they define "groovy Death Metal".
