Darklord - I Summon Thee

Crushing black metal insanity, laced with surprisingly lucid, piercing solos.

Tarot - The Invisible Hand

It's lonely to be a Tarot fan. Especially a fan of OLD Tarot.

Cattle Decapitation - An Exposition of Insides
This is a bonus track from the hard to find Japanese version of Monolith of Inhumanity. Pretty rare and awesome song so if you're a fan check it out.

Porcupine Tree - Anesthetize

Been in a weird mood for Porcupine Tree since yesterday. I never got into this band much before. Maybe now's the time.

Hibria - Change your Life Line

Came up on my running wild pandora channel, not too bad, love these soaring lead and vocals. I need more power metal in my life.

The Slow Death - The Prodigal Son

I maintain that this is simultaneously the greatest and most beautiful doom metal song there is.

Alice in Chains - Grind

This is such an evocative album. The strongest of their original three...I discovered it last year during a very difficult time, and though I never had time to listen to it that much due to simply being very busy, it's one of the most emotional and bleak albums I've ever heard.

Opeth - Wreath (Royal Albert Hall version)

Those blast beats at the end are what make me like this version more than the studio version. They just fit so perfectly.

There really needs to me more melodic death/doom like these guys and My Dying Bride. Because I must have more.

My most recent pickup:

Teddy Pendergrass - TP

A soul classic. At the very least, check out Love TKO.

I'm in the mood for some very dark and gloomy music today.
