Any of you guys ever watched the Joker Blogs? You know, those videos made by fans which are set in the Nolan version of the Batman universe. They explain what happened with the Joker between The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, and they're extremely well made. The dude who plays the Joker is practically a dead ringer for Ledger's version of the character.

Were any of you guys at the Mania/ Hell show in Santa Cruz last night? I heard "The Metal Archives" dropped a couple times outside on the patio but was only able to say what's up to one guy who only browses the encyclopedia.

Also I picked up the Harrow/ Walden split cassette and some sludge band I don't remember... Good haul.

Nile and Insanity were fucking awesome I am happy to report. Real weird people in the pit during Nile's second set though...

Why? he isn't bothering me. Just wanted to point out his opinion was wrong. and US if you took offense of fool instead of brushing it off your shoulder like any logical person would do.. that's on you. It was nothing more than a friendly statement that you took further.

Ah, a perfect, coherent world, where all conforms to SLK's interpretation of events.

Whatever.

@ Napero - You should definitely check out Flight of the Navigator. Loved that movie as a kid and it should hold up pretty well by today's standards.

^ I remember that movie. Innocuous and endearing. A truly G rated film.

.. reminds me to mention The Last Starfighter. I have NO idea how that holds up, but I'm guessing it'd be amusing for everyone.

HAHA .. and you HAVE to get your hands on Condorman. Oh wow. That movie is stupid gold.

Sorta like this one plush toy except with just a hole in it but no sex toys installed, people actually bid 200 british pounds for it. :ugh:

I'd post the one with the fleshlight but thats probably against the rules.

The one SlayerHatesUsAll posted is the one I did. Look there instead for sadness and squick.

The weather is totally weird. One day you can wear a shirt, the other day it's fucking snowing (this sentence might be nonsensical to Canadians or Finns). But most of the time it's just ass cold and shitty.

So it's like a less schizophrenic version of New England's weather?

I'm near the Cartier station on the orange line (5 mins of bus). My city is actually Laval, but yeah, I'm near Montréal. My université is Université de Montréal and it's like 30 to 45 mins of commuting (the univ is located near 3 stations on the blue line). Do you plan to visit!?

Ah, I see, cool! I would like to visit (been interested to see Montreal for a while now), but traveling expenses + getting time off work, etc, it all becomes way more complicated than one wants it to be. Now's not a good time, but maybe in the future. The drive up from New York looks really pretty. It'd make an awesome autumn trip, for sure. Parc National du Mont-Tremblant and other nice-looking forests seem to be close by, as well...

Tremblant is indeed very nice, as is Mont-Royale. The drive up isn't as long as one would think, and definitely come in the summer if you do.
