Got a few orders in again today, literally risked my life driving out in the middle of the night to pick them up through icy rain, and when I'd put them back into my car, I had the good fortune to slip on the icy driveway and land right on my hip. So hopefully all of that was worth it to save these precious babies from the bitter elements. Some cases cracked, but it can hardly be helped.

CDs:
  • Empty - The Last Breath of My Mortal Despair
  • Inanna Unveiled - Inanna Unveiled
  • Insane Vesper - Abomination of Death
  • Sadorass - Strength and Wisdom
  • SSORC - Infidel Eternal
  • Uncreation’s Dawn - Deathmarch over God’s Kingdom

Tapes:
  • Borgbozyn - Humanité Pourrissante
  • Elite - Kampen
  • Til Det Bergens Skyggene - Til Det Bergens Skyggene
  • Til Det Bergens Skyggene - Renhet
  • Til Det Bergens Skyggene - Renhet II
  • Til Det Bergens Skyggene - Vandringen I (Skoglandskap)
  • Ithdabquth Qliphoth - Demonic Crown of Anticreation
  • Yearner - Winternight
  • מזמור - Untitled Winter EP

Fuck YES. This was spurned from a recent purchase of the 2009 reissue of In The Court Of The Crimson King, no? Wilson really has his shit together with these; these new remixes are phenomenal.

Are any of these the CD/DVD version with the 5.1 mixes? Those need to heard to be believed...

Oh yeah! I heard how glorious it was and had to have the rest.

Unfortunately, they're just the 2CD versions. I imagine those 5.1 mixes sound incredible though.

ITCOTCK does sound pretty phenomenal, I have to admit, and it was the basic 2CD 2009 remix.

I had to do the same thing. The allegedly 100% analog recording/mastering process sealed it for me.

Very fine album to boot. It took a few spins to click, but once it did...

Either way, SW did an amazing job with these records, regardless of stereo cd or 5.1 DVD. He's also slated to do Beat and Three Of A Perfect Pair for 2013 before passing the reigns to Jakko Jakszyk for Thrak (at least from what I've sat read).

That Masakari album is great. Picked up a vinyl press when they played here a couple years ago. I spin it constantly.

Went to a Soilwork show last night and wound up buying all three of Bonded By Blood's records. I had about ten beers in me, otherwise I wouldn't have spent the money. Despite the bad spending, the albums are great. I'm really into the newer thrash bands (I know, shame on me.) and these guys put on a great performance.

Got these two CDs in the mail today
Helloween - The Dark Ride
Last Chance For You / Native Wildlife - Split CD
Image
The Helloween album is easily my favorite of their Deris albums, and Salvation is probably my favorite Helloween song, so I'm glad to finally get this after having waited for a long time to find a deal on it. Unlock Yourself Records did a great job with the split CD, it looks great and the digipak isn't one of those bullshit slipcases (I'm sure I'm not the only one who has bought one of those brand new and sealed to find the CD already scratched up!). I haven't heard the Last Chance For You side yet, but Native Wildlife are an outstanding local screamo band. This CD contains 4/5ths of their original EP, and they've only improved since then (Both of their releases are downloadable for free here).

Insanity - Visions Of The Apocalypse (it's apparently an advance copy that I bought last night. Don't really care either way, as it was only $7).

Just got Inquisition's Ominous Doctrines of the Perpetual Mystical Macrocosm. This is black metal like I've never heard it before - and I love it. I'll definitely be exploring their earlier works soon.
