Savatage - Follow Me

There's potential here but I'd be lying if I said that the album rules from the beginning till the very end. There are some songs that got some great sections here and there but sound like a mess (''He Carves His Stone'') and then you got these ballads that just as far as mood goes reminds me a lot of Dream Theater - means they're dull and boring as crap. This album could have been pretty great I suppose. This song is pretty OK though...but around the 3 minute mark Chris sorts of saves the whole thing from becomming a disaster with some catchy light riffing and decent shredding.

Savatage - Summer's Rain

Revisiting this and it seems like my opnion hasn't changed about this record. The music itself is pretty decent but the vocals are beyond terrible at times. They should have hired Zak Stevens to sing at this point already.
