Brant Bjork - Jalamanta

Wish I could find this CD somewhere for a reasonable price. Psychedelic masterpiece. I first heard this on the busride home from university. I had just smoked a bonghit in the woods off campus (my usual spot), and thought this was just the grooviest shit I had ever heard. I was bouncing and laughing silently the whole ride home.

I gotta say I have loved everything I've heard from this band. The chaotic sound really is like th sound of the apocalypse!

Gotta thank Zodijackyl for this rec, Good raw black metal with 70's organ. Really enjoying this and considering picking it up.

The news of the new album got me excited. Necroticism, SoS and RoP have been queued up for the rest of the day.

The full stream of Byzantine's new self-titled album at No Clean Singing. http://www.nocleansinging.com/2013/02/2 ... new-album/

In spite of being familiar with them prior to breaking up a few years ago, this is the first I've listened to anything they've done in earnest. While it's not quite what I expected, it's pretty good and might be inclined to pick this up.
