They're playing here soon, that's some kind of reissue I'm assuming?

Tool - Ænima (2xLP)

damn how much did you pay? ive been looking into getting this

http://www.discogs.com/Tool-%C3%86nima/release/4030425

Its an unofficial release from 2008, got it from Amazon. Still pretty well done, it sounds great. Interesting enough, I still think the holographic artwork from the CD rules over this. :P And it really trips me out to see how many releases Tool actually have. http://www.discogs.com/artist/Tool+%282%29 I'm all like :o. Some of these at PROFOUND costs.

Couple CDs today:

Primordial - The Gathering Wilderness
Suffocation - Pinnacle of Bedlam, Digipack CD/DVD version. I hope the rest of the album is better than "As Grace Descends," because that one didn't really impress me. But I'm a good fan of Suffocation and they haven't released a bad album imo, so I picked this up! Also, I just saw them live a couple weeks ago, and I would have gotten it there had they had any copies for sale.

I just won this long on ebay:

DISAVOWED: PERCEPTIVE DECEPTION
LOWBROW: SEX VIOLENCE DEATH
AUTOPSY COMMISSION: BENEATH CONTEMPT
LEGION: CONQUEROR
THORR'S HAMMER: DOMMEDAGSNATT
FROM THE DEPTHS: ELYSIUM
KULT OV AZAZEL: TRIUMPH OF FIRE
SCRAMBLED DEFUNCTS: CATACOMB ABATTOIR
SEPTIC FLESH: A FALLEN TEMPLE

honestly the only two I wanted was scrambled Defunts and Septic Flesh since both of those are hard to come by. the Disavowed, THORR'S HAMMER, and Kult ov Azazel were nice additions. the from the depths I already have. and I have a feeling that both that lowbrow and autopsy commision are going to be shit.

Update: Lowbrow sounds sorta like Obituary...but not as good.

Marmer, that Dissect cover art looks wicked. I've never heard of them, but I'll have to look them up based on that alone. And nice going with Headless Cross, The Lions Den!

Nunslaughter - Hells Unholy Fire (Vinyl picture disc limited to 200) + 2 disc cd version
I never realized how many releases these guys have, figured I'd start with the 1st full length for now.
Suffocation - Pinnacle of Bedlam (2 disc digipak)
Liking this better than Blood Oath already, but this band never really disappoints me.

CDs:

Dragged Into Sunlight - Hatred for Mankind (I think my ears are going to explode listening to this)
Ares Kingdom - Return to Dust
Nachtmystium - Assasins (Black Meddle pt. 1) - got it real cheap and I actually think the music is good, regardless of what asshole Blake Judd is rumored to be.

Been a little while since I've posted anything in this thread (or at all). This is, I think, most of what I've picked up in the last month or so:

Gloria Diaboli - Libation Unto He Who Dwelleth in the Depths 10"
Stumbled on this while visiting a local record store, and bought it almost immediately. Excellent.

Saccage - Death Crust Satanique LP on "marbled amber" (but looks just like a bunch of vomit)
Hadn't heard of this band before, but it turned out to be really good Inepsy-style (the band is also Canadian) Crust/Speed/Death/Black thing. Lots of different influences here, none of them bad. The lyrics are in Canadian French, and the artwork has a bunch of skeletons dressed as punks on it. Highly recommended!

Evil Survives - Metal Vengeance 12"
I've inadvertently started a Canadian thrash collection, as it turns out. This fits in well with that theme.

Wolfbrigade - Progression/Regression picture disc LP
Came upon this in a used bin, and it fits into yet another pattern of my record collection: used Wolfbrigade vinyl. I think this one is their first after they changed their name from Wolfpack, and it's pretty much what you would expect. I'm a big fan of pretty much everything Wolfbrigade touches, so... I don't know. There's that.

Ulver - Nattens Madrigal double LP on clear yellow vinyl (the one that comes in that faux-leather gatefold setup)
I think I got lucky and just happened to check Hells Headbangers when they had updated, because I believe this sold out quick. It's a great fucking album, as most of you know, and this pressing sounds great.

Evil Army - I, Commander 7"
Pretty goddamn good. I think this was also the first record from 2013 I've bought.

Despise - Profane Existence singles series #2 red 7"
I don't actually know the title of this. It's on the archives though, for what that's worth. I've sung the praises of this band elsewhere on these forums, so to reiterate: THEY ARE REALLY GOOD. Female-fronted crust from Minneapolis that's under appreciated as hell.

Audio Kollaps/Wolfbrigade split 7"
Wolfbrigade love affair continues. This is also the first Audio Kollaps stuff I've heard, and although I think their name sucks, the music is perfect Scandinavian metallic crust. Hell yeah!

The Devil's Blood - The Graveyard Shuffle 7"
My girlfriend loves this band, and I'm lukewarm about 'em. I mostly bought this so she could warm up to the idea of having a bunch of records sitting in our living room. No, it didn't work. But this 7" is still pretty goddamn good.

The non-metal/metal-ish stuff:
Sham 69 - Tell Us the Truth 12"
I really like first-generation oi stuff a lot, so I was pretty happy to find this Italian repress out in a suburban record store.

Bob Dylan - Biograph 5xLP boxset
Despite being a big Dylan fan, I don't really have too much of his stuff on vinyl. This is one of my many, many shames. Anyway, I figured buying this set is a good place to start.

TL;DR This post is useless without pictures.

I like how you included a little bit of where or why you bought something with a mini reiview, Delduwath. Enjoyed reading that.

Krav that hellbastard vinyl looks sweet as fuggg.

edit:

Oh and apparently my wife ordered Manilla Road: Mysterium & Game of Thrones Season 2 on amazon. They both came in today. Very nice :)

Just received this in the mail:

Lord - Digital Lies
Lord - Hear No Evil EP

Pre-ordered the new album and poured in some extra cash to get a shirt and the limited EP. Listening to the album right now, it's pretty good. :np:

I've seen a lot of the live footage on YouTube. It's a pretty awesome time for Ministry when this was filmed. And I liked the part where Jello comes out and gives a speech, pretty rad. Not to mention the drum off at the beginning with "Breath" I think it was? Fucking awesome. :headbang:
