Well, the phrasing is used on food products to let consumers know that it may contain something that they're allergic to. Maybe you're something that people should be cautious of?

He doesn't have nuts inside him. External nuts are the correct way to testicle (yes I just made that into a verb).

I get to see Bolt Thrower and Black Breath in May! Hopefully I'm in Portland (Rather than Eugene) at the time, so that the latter is only a 3 hour train ride rather than 6.

Black Breath are loads of fun live, I've seen them a few times. I think I've worked stage at one of their shows too, I can't remember.

But can we ascertain that it's a one-man death metal band though? In this only interview available online, the band constantly uses "we" in every response. Or maybe it's just a thing.

Well, this is pretty much bonkers, but I think it'll be something with Heaven or Vultures, since the 'Hollow' artwork involves a weird two-headed crow or bird resembling the pentagram or something like that.

It's been officially revealed as The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here.

I like it the more and more I think about it. It's an odd title for a band that was always a bit out there, even among their peers at the height of their popularity twenty years ago. The jab at the creationist mythos is a nice touch, too. So much more preferable to me than a simple one or two-worded phrase that's intentionally vague and "open to interpretation." That's been done to death already by a multitude of bands over the years and it's not bound to change anytime soon regardless. Either that or yet another self-referential title alluding to Layne Staley's passing. Once was enough and it was a reverent nod to his absence. Anything more than that is just unnecessary now.

Weird title indeed but unique. I'm stoked to see the artwork. And Layne's gone. Get over it. AC/DC is still out there, aren't they? DuVall's no Layne but he's doing a damn good job. And Jerry's effort is unquestionable. To reincarnate the band by delivering a superb album like BGWTB is definitely commendable.

Buying it now! While listening to Sunderland's "Sokrates," no less. How many more Frog points can I score??

While we're speaking of one-man death metal acts, I already know of The Wakedead Gathering (and SLK!), but are there really many others of note? One-man black metal is all too common, but one-man DM still seems to be a something of an albino peacock. Anyone have any recs? Maybe I should just take this to Rec Central or the DM help thread...

A Loathing Requiem is a killer one man band. If you like the tech death angle on things of course.

Yeah, I prefer it to the new one by quite a bit. Much riffier, and the drumming is awesome-er.

Sympathy from Canada at least was a one man Death Metal band for a time (I think the first two CDs) but now he has a couple of the guys from Into Eternity playing with him. I actually prefer the one solo album I have to the latest one though. If you can track down some of his stuff do it you won't be sorry.

Edit. Here's a youtube video (the only one I could find). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tu93PFMpuZ0

If BDM is your thing, you could check out Putrid Pile. Legendary stuff. Unless you've already heard his music.

Also for one man death metal bands;

Darkness Eternal- this one I tend to like more than others since he actually plays drums kinda sounds like early Drawn and Quartered
Bloodsoaked- he actually tours pretty often along the lines of bdm
Vomitchapel- the guitarist of Father Befouled does more primitive vile death/war metal.
Ultimate Agony- raw osdm, wish he would would've done more actually

there is actually a ton of BDM band that are one man bands. and there are even far more that are 2 member bands were one does all the instruments and music and the other the vocals.

You fool! Don't you understand what would happen if they released a full-length album?! They wouldn't be trve kvlt anymore! They'd--oh, wait. Wrong subgenre.

Well, that sucks. It's always terrible when a promising band (I'll assume, I've not heard them) disintegrates before they release a lot of material.

Got mine too! I'm pretty sure this is gonna sell out by the end of the day. Something like 300+ tickets sold in 8 minutes from when they went on sale, and there's about 30 (probably less now) left as of half an hour ago. Fucking ridiculous. Even Autopsy didn't sell out this fast.

Bolt Thrower playing the US like this is truly a momentous occasion! Made sure to get my ticket immediately after they went on sale. Hopefully I can snag some legendary BT merch as well.

Well damn I guess I may not get to see Bolt Thrower if the tickets are selling that fast by the time I get home it'll be all sold out if it isn't already.
