the thread icon legend is missing three of the icons (New posts, New posts [ Popular ] & New posts [ Locked ])

also, the legend doesn't mention that yellow means you have posted in the thread

This is something that I noticed sometime back. When a user quotes another user's post, there's no mention of the date and/or time of the quoted post. This can get a bit confusing and tiresome to see the date-reference if you have a long thread. Did you guys debate about removing it out? I feel that while it can be a bit trivial to some, it can be an innocuous added feature which will provide some sort of reference to readers.

You're looking for this thread. Anyway, that's part of the phpBB3 forum software we use, not sure if much can be done about it. Personally, I think it's not a problem. Add it manually if you prefer?

Ah, missed this thread. Well, it's not about adding the date. If that were the case, then everyone would have to do the same. I was referring to something I came across on the free-for-all thread in the tavern. For instance, user X quoted user Y in a new post. But the original post was made quite a while back. So as I backtracked, it grew tiring going through all those older posts...but for instance, if the time stamp was mentioned in teh quote by default, it would be easier to either search or at least it gives you an idea when the original post was made.

I understand it's the forum software. I merely was curious if anything could be done with regards to that. I've seen other forums and they incorporate what I explained above.

I just noticed one can't have nested spoilers in a post. I was assuming it would be possible just like quotes.

I'm trying to add the members for Foot and Mouth Disease and it won't let me do they need to be a metal band to have a lineup?
They are on the split with Beard Without A Mustache.

I see! so it's not just me, it's a bit of an odd one, I can post in the thread [so can others] but I just can't save the edit
Even if I make no changes and save it I get this error:

Nothing huge, but I think that the new subforum is supposed to be written "Musicians Seeking Musicians", and not "Musicians seeking Musicians".

Super annoying feature in the forum.

When you want to open a topic in a new tab by clicking a topic, ctrl+click (cmd + click on mac), a new tab loads the url and the current tab also loads it. Current tab should not load the topic!

This is because you have put e.g "onclick="window.location.href='./viewtopic.php?f=11&t=12345'"" on the parent td.

I guess you have done this to make the whole td a link to the topic.

My suggestion is that you remove the onclick on the td, then modify the css of the topic a-tag to cover the desired clickable part of the td.

Thanks.

That's not a glitch; your rank on the site is determined by points, whereas on the forum it's determined by posts. You need 30 posts to become a "Metal newbie" on the forums.

It would be nice if traders/sellers included country of origin in their thread title.

Or a compulsory country in their profile [visible on the left in the forums] if you are trading/selling.
I think it's really important to know what country the person you are dealing with is in before you get too far into it.

I have a problem with editing lyrics. While I added them and submitted, I noticed there were a few typos. I've once added lyrics to the wrong song, too. Is there any way too fix it, because I can't find it. Thanks in advance.

You probably don't have high enough rank to edit the information. Check this for details. Before you get to Veteran status, you can (and should) correct any errors/mistakes/etc like this via the report function (ie., the button which says "report an error", near the FAQ text, down and left from the top right corner)
