I'm looking for something along the lines of Spawn Of Possession's Incurso, Origin's Antithesis, Suffo's Pierced From Within, etc. but with progressive elements similar to Dream Theater's instrumental sections, with both aggressive clean vocals (Gojira for example) and guttural death growls, breakneck speeds, extreme song lengths, and some folky acoustic stuff, the kind of epic songs that build from a slow, dark theme to some brutal slammage. A big discography would be a plus, as well as high quality production and bassy guitar/bass tone.

Check out Beyond Creation, Obscura, and Augury.

Beyond Creation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_U16hXRMqJw Someone decided to put the entire album on youtube....
Augury: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DPW9ED1WBs
Obscura: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snDfSqcPHWk

Added some links.

Edit: Obscura may not be as brutal as you want it, but they do have acoustic sections and some clean vocals.

Beyond Creation is alright, I don't like Obscura that much though.
Augury on the other hand I'll check out.
Another thing I can't stand is those douchebag core screams all these tech death bands have been doing recently.
I want goddamn gutturals man.

I'd strongly recommend checking out the earlier Gorod material. I love their stuff to death. Good prog/tech death metal.

Then there's Decrepit Birth. Popular band. Their stuff would also fall in the same vein.

Necrophagist and Psycroptic maybe? If you dig Augury check out more of the Quebec scene like Neuraxis and Older Cryptopsy etc.

Necrophagist is mostly constant noodling, and I can't stand Psycroptic's core vocals just ugh.
Cryptopsy is alright, but I really liked Augury.
Decrepit Birth is fucking amazing, but too slow and not enough prog.
Gorod is too core.
Just to inform you, there is nothing I despise more than core music.
I'll check out Neuraxis though.

EDIT: Neuraxis was alright, so far the closest thing I've found is Augury, plus I like Opeth's dark folky stuff too btw.

Lolwut? Did you check out their first album called 'Neurotripsicks'? Anyway it's cool man if you have a different definition of -core music.

Monolith Deathcult was fucking sweet.
Persefone was also fucking sweet, not that brutal though, but the proggy rhythms were pretty rad.
Symbyosis is pretty sweet too, not that brutal, but cool.
PITN isn't really my favorite, but still pretty cool.
Talanas was pretty cool too, not a fan of the screams though.
Gutterals man.
I like them pushing the limits of rhythm progressive bands like Meshuggah and DT.
I'm guessing the described band doesn't exist however.

Its the high screams man, they get on my nerves.
In black metal that's expected, but it just feels like deathcore when they do the gremlin screams.

Well I'm going to throw Slaughterbox and Braindrill in there, but be warned if you really don't like highs on SB, I always consider his shit guttural but when I listen to it, he seems to lean on his screams more, but whatever you might like it anyway.

Not too big a fan of Braindrill.
Slaughterbox is fucking hilarious, but not really what I'm looking for.
I guess SoP is gonna have to remain my favorite band for now, at least until I find like-minded musicians to create my sought after sound.
Edit: After going back and giving a closer listen to Obscura, I like them a lot more than I thought I did before.

Gorod is not core in any way....

Visceral Bleeding http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RU-KHCkBjWY

Hedonistic Exility might be to your liking. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iA607IMCuU

This might be too obvious but what about Nile? Or Fleshgod Apocalypse?

Also two bands that might fit the bill are Wretched (U.S.) and http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=zcrbjXJtz48#! Clock Paradox from Finland. CP has some clean vocals and Wretched uses both growls and more mid range screams.

Judging by your posts, you may enjoy this:
De Profundis - Dead Inside http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hoJZPxYu9v8

And I agree - I find Gorod far too -core, to point of being unlistenable live (never heard them on record)

Ophidian I is pretty sweet.
Gorod is really core though son, as is Hedonistic Exility.
Visceral Bleeding is pretty gnarly though, as are Nile and Fleshgod Apocalypse.
CP and Wretched are alright, again, I despise 99% of all core music.
De Pofundis is rad as hell, thanks for the rec, same with Aeon of Horus and First Fragment.
I'm not a huge fan of Psycroptic because of the high vocals and the wierd gurgles, but I love the guitar and bass work.
Infinitum is the name, and they're sweet, but The Schoenberg Automation is way core ie gay.
I LOVE Appalling Spawn and Lykathea Aflame.
Insidious Decrepancy and Odious Mortem are incredible, I listen to them frequently, and Abysmal Torment is sweet, I just hate their snare sound.
Ulcerate is definitely up there as one of my favorites of all time.

Gorod isn't core, there is nothing core in their music. If you insist they are core you must not understand what core is.

Anyways if you liked fleshgod and nile there is a good possibility you will like

Hour of Penance (if you dont already know of them)

then there is

Arkaik http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTtmh_BmELY this is their new stuff which i like much more than their old stuff but their old stuff is somewhat decent as well.

Theory in Practice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIWwWJ51Uz4

didnt think you would like The Schoenberg Automation but at least you liked infintium i wasnt sure if i got there name right

you might like A Million Dead Birds Laughing nothing deathcore about them but people say they are somewhat grindcore but i think thats more to do with the length of their songs rather than their music anyways enjoy Infinitum

AMDBL is alright, but definitely grindcore.
Weeping Birth is incredible, thanks for the rec.

I'm still looking for stuff, but I would like to point out that I adored The Faceless' most recent album, as well as Opeth, so pretty much I'm looking for a band that does shit like that but with progressive/technical death metal that's brutal as fuck.

Ha, I liked Cryptopsy's first few albums.
Fallujah is too core for my taste. I feel like a lot of you aren't looking at the top post ._.
Same with Pillory.
The rest was pretty sweet, but I really want some prog too.
Obscura would be the perfect band without the deathcore screams and some more clean vocals at a way faster speed.

I've been mentioning this band everywhere on the boards, I just thought I should tell you as well. They're not that progressive or that technical but see if you fancy them coz they have elements of OSDM, BDM and technical DM.

All of this is great stuff, just I seriously can't stand any of those high screams like Hour Of Penance and shit do.
The other big thing is progressive shit, not just tech death.
I guess another big thing would be some clean vocals.

Since you were looking for something akin to Origin's Antithesis.....I am certain you'll dig a US band called Omnihility's album entitled Biogenesis. They are the closest possible clone to Origin IMO.

Take a listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNIKZM1xFSc

Not sure if Quo Vadis was mentioned, but I'd think you'd dig them if you haven't heard them.

Also, not sure if they are your style but Rings of Saturn fucking rules IMO and I can't wait to get their new album which I think is officially released Feb 5th.
