So, I was listening to Pentagram for a while today and rediscovered their great little instrumental song titled "A Timeless Heart". So smooth and easy to listen to, yet heartfelt and genuine. I love Pentagram when they're at their doomiest and heavy as fuck, but damn do I think that song is pretty.

Anybody know of any songs with a similar feel to them from metal bands that ya'll have listened to over the years. Doesn't have to be instrumental, btw.

Here's a link to the song, just in case nobody has ever heard it before.

Thank you guys in advance \m/

"With Swans I'll Share my Thirst" by Forgotten Woods always felt a bit Romantic to me. Although it ain't metal.

Virgin Steele has plenty of those;

Perfect Mansions
Child Of Desolation
Emalaith
Invitation/I Dress In Black

My Dying Bride's Black Heart Romance and The Deepest Of All Hearts are some romantic tunes I also like.

And Type O Negative's entire October Rust record is a must for romantic moving metal tunes.

Opeth its too obvious? if thats not the case, check some of their softer stuff like Harvest, Coil, Burden, Benighted and so on.

I like that Pentagram song...nicely subtle.

Les Discrets instantly comes to mind. Normally they sound sadder, but that's a gross simplification of the myriad of wonderful emotions found in that band.

The first Sculptured album is centered around romance. Great album!
