First of all I must say that I don't speak english very well,so I apaologize if what I write is not comprehensible.

I would like to talk about the searching engine of Encyclopedia Metallum. If I search for something the bands appear in alfabetical order. For example, if I search for thrash metal bands all the bands in Encyclopedia Metallum that contain thrash metal among the genres that they play will appear in alphabetical order,and I haven't find the way to make bands appear in other kind of order so I guess that this is the only option avaliable (if I'm wrong,please tell me the way to make them appear in other order).I would like to have the option to sort bands by popularity,rating or something like that,that way if I search for a (a music genre,a lyrical theme) the first bands that will appear will be the ones that are suposed to be the best among bands that have taht characteristic. So I suggest to create a "sort by" option which contains "popularity","users rating" or similar option.

Search results themselves cannot be sorted in the way you mean, that's true. But the advanced search allows some pretty interesting finetuning.
