(i'm aware that this thread might be only interesting to latin fans, so, sorry if most of the board feels excluded or have no clue about this topic)

Basically this is a supergroup formed by well-known names in the latin rock scene, which are:

Andreas Kisser (Sepultura) - Guitars
Andres Gimenez (ANIMAL, Dia De Los Muertos) - Guitar, Vocals
Flavio (Los Fabulosos Cadillacs) - Bass
Alex (Maná) - Drums

Honestly i don't hold me breath for this band, taking in count that Andreas and Andres have been playing mediocre Groove metal for the last few years (well, Dante XXI and Kairos a kinda cool and DDLM is an ok band), Flavio is a more a Ska musician and Alex, well, he plays in Maná (must accept that he is a quite skillful drummer).

So my friends what do you think of these, i honestly wish to be wrong and this band turns to be a good band, but my expectations are not high.

I dont't know these other guys, but if the riffs were as good as the ones Kisser played in Schizophrenia, then I would listen to this shit even if Shakira was on the vocals.

It won't happen, though.

Well, i can say i'm very interested in this. I don't know this Andres Gimenez, but i know very well the other 3, specially Kisser and Alex. I still don't get the idea of these 2 together. And what kind of music? I don't care if is Alternative Rock or Pop Rock, i would be listening to it.

I wasn't aware Kisser was doing another band. I'll at least check it out, though I'm expecting nothing special.

I know all of them and their bands, but I'm clueless about this. Alex is a hell of a drummer, so I hope he'll be doing a good job; Flavio is also heavily into hardcore punk and the other 2 have more history with metal. Maybe this will sound like ANIMAL or will be around that kind of heaviness, but hell, we can dream about a more thrash stuff if Kisser get his ass up.

These are exactly my thoughts. There's no way I can get my hopes high for this, however, I am positively curious about how this will turn out. None of their main bands sound nothing alike and, as far as I know, they have no shared background music wise. At least, it will be interesting to hear what they come up with.

I'm kinda dissapoinetd by Álex (Maná's drummer); he's maybe one of the greatest drummers in South America and in this song he does something pretty lineal and uninspired: I expected more from him, something more creative and virtuous. Flavio, on the other hand, really surprised me: the basslines are solid and the growls are pretty good.

The song is just what I expected. It's boring, but it's not bad (neither something unique); I guess is just another side project created by them or the label to win some money with an LP and some touring, followed by the usual eternal hiatus every so called supergroup suffers from...

Aside from the song being boring to death, I found the guitar tone pretty raw, organic and fiercy sounding, good thing for Andreas. Aand well, Gimenez... he'll always be a mess, thought the chorus is tolerable to a certain degree.

Oh, well...

I still hope that's not the best they can do...

Hmm, sounds like it came off Sepultura's Roots, which for me, isn't a bad thing seeing as I love that album. The problem is, it just doesn't do anything that wasn't already done far better on Roots. Well, the guitar solo was very good, but besides that. Ehh, not too interesting. Certainly isn't bad though.

It is not bad, hopefully the album will have some really terrific moments.
