I saw them open for Slayer in 2007. They sucked.

They had one good album. Other than that, don't give two shits.

Probably because they aren't impressive.

Glad we all got that out of our systems.

Anyway, I saw them back in 2006 or something in a small club playing with Soilwork and some other local bands. They weren't totally awful, just not my thing. The only thing I remember from that show was some dude slipped on a spilled beer or something and landed face first on the floor and broke all his teeth. His girlfriend turned him over, saw his face covered in blood and broken teeth on the floor and threw up on him.

Thank you for that Bleeding Through. Thank you.

I liked them for a brief period, but never got that far into them. Can't say I'm glad that they're disbanding, but I'm not shedding any tears either.

They were definitely not as bad as many other core bands musically. They needed a much better singer though. He sounded like he was trying to be M. Shadows on Waking the Fallen.

This band was totally my jam in high school. I still think their first five records are great melodic metalcore. Lots of great memories seeing them live, so I'll definitely catch them on this last tour.

I liked this band a lot back in the day, and always regarded them as one of the finer examples of "metalcore". They had a good run IMO.

Like many of those who have already stated the same, I'm not gonna miss this band. Never really listened to them except for the odd music video that would pop up on mtv2. Funny, no one's mentioned Marta yet...guess I'm the only shallow bastard here thinking of her the moment anyone says Bleeding Through.

I won't miss them that much but both Declaration and The Great Fire had some pretty cool songs.

The Truth had its moments but Bleeding Through reached their pinnacle just at the end of the mallcore era leaving life-long fans clinging onto the scraps, much like with Caliban they had the signature sound they couldn't escape from and even if they tried would be accused of 'selling out' and all that crap from the mallcore fans they acquired.

Best to split and let the members do their own thing.

This is pretty sad. These guys were one of the few OG Orange County metalcore bands still going strong. The Great Fire was a damn good album. I was always impressed with how they worked keyboards into their music as well. Maybe Brandon could try to get 18 Visions back together! That would be amazing.

Declaration was actually quite good. Not a great fan but I enjoyed a lot when I saw them here two years ago, they did a very good concert.

Amen to that. Then who would all these "death to false metal" perma-virgins turn to? :)

I'm just surprised that they had 7 albums, personally.
