Hi,

Looking for some metal/rock/rockjazz/avantgarde/whatever with Patton esque vocals. When I say M. Patton kind of vocals I mean Mike's performance on Mr Bungle albums, especially tracks with ,,open", clear, long range singing (tracks ,,Pink cigarette", ,,Sweet Charity", etc.). I guess some of you may call this ,,operatic" a bit. Any recommendations would be great, including Mike's other musical stuff which meets the criterias.

Thx

The Australian band Frankenbok used some on the Greetings And Salutations album. They have sinced totally ditched the awesome sound they had back then. They had a song called P Cloned which actually talked about ripping off his vocal style

Dog Fashion Disco and the successor band Polkadot Cadaver were very similar to Mr Bungle and Mike Patton. Check 'em out.

Also, Pain Of Salvation's singer and songwriter Daniel Gildenlow has been compared to Mike Patton because of his versatility. You might like them too.
