This is a song that is going to appear on a split with Baldaraz. Could you please listen to it and give me some critique. It lack vocals and bass. I am going to be adding them in the next few days.

I recorded this with Reaper. Please tell me what you think of the guitars, the mix, the drums.

It sounds like everything was recorded in a big hall, with the band in one corner and a microphone in the opposite corner.
The vocals and drums need to be way more up front, I only hear some cymbals and rumble.

I can't tell what's going on there. It's like you took a "presence" setting and turned it WAY down... What are you recording this with?

I used a Peavey Supreme through my 2x12's speakers. My mic is a Shure and my interface is an Alesis IO-2. The sound is probably something that I did in the mixing stage. I am not super experienced with mixing tracks.

Stupid Nexus auto-spell.

The guitars are least problematic of all - I even like the ethereal quality of the riffs.

What are the source files for the drum? One track from one microphone? In that case, mixing possibilities are limited but I'm sure that, with the right adjustments, it can be made better than the current mix.
If you want me to have a go at it, hook me up with the source files.

Sure. I will upload it to mediafire and send it to you in a PM. Its all done on Reaper. There is one guitar track, inaudible bass, and ezdrummer drums.
