I don't really care about how many points I have or not. I have though noticed that I have lost something like five hundred points a few months ago and I really don't know the reason why. Could you just explain me? If you do this kind of things, it's okay but please send me a message...

Just FYI... oriffs didn't technically break a rule by adding links to his distro. Read the rules about external links again, there's nothing that says he can't do that.

What he did do that annoys the hell out of me, though, was adding links only to his homepage and not to, say, distropage.com/bandname and the likes, which is against the rules but no one ever follows it...

For example: Crrombid_Traxorm, I'm not familiar with this band but he added the 6 members listed for all releases, playing exactly the same instruments everywhere ...

Very obvious opportunistic pointwhore. He also added a guesswork lineup to the debut demo of a local band I added today. I very much doubt he is in contact with the members or owns the CD... Sent him a stern final warning. Now to clean up all that junk data he added... I think I'll talk to the owners about limiting editing privileges for album lineups again. So sick of fucktards like that...

hey I added these lyrics one by one and foolishly was unaware that doing so was against the rules and point whoring until afterwards. I did not mean to do such things, so I am posting here to report myself in hopes of avoiding anything too terrible.

I believe I fixed that for you. This thread isn't for fuckups, but for intentional acts of users obsession over their scores (for whatever reason(s). If you make an error or notice any, click the "Report an error" button on the relevant page and describe what needs updated/corrected.

EDIT: However, you did add lyrics one by one--don't do that anymore. Wait for all of them to be ready to copy over and then add them at the same time.

It's a single, his first added album/track and he has like 40 modifications. The lyrics he added are formatted fine. He was probably just going with how the band wrote it and thought it was alright. Don't be overzealous, people.

Hi. I'm sorry if I post here is for about point-whoring or not. But there's an user called attilaslaytanic666 modify something some Indonesian metal bands. Actually, I don't believe his modifications. I've emailed to him but the last he won't reply, and also I've sent a message on his Facebook but he won't reply. Morrigan know this problem.

And I know MA cannot lock the modifications. Not only some Indonesian metal bands must written modified by attilaslaytanic666 and changed a logo/photo to make better by using Photoshop (or not?) although he's not Indonesian, but he also vandalized.
