Well... actually, it does. If the only release that 1349 had ever released was "Demonoir", you can bet they'd be blacklisted too. :p (Although that album actually still has more metal tracks than interludes, really... hopefully you get what I'm trying to say, here...)

A band needs one predominantly metallic album, and if there's too many ambient interludes, it's considered an ambient act with metallic songs, not the other way around. Sorry.

Could there be any mods here to answer my query regarding INSIDE I (Norway) ? I'm sure most here are being overwhelmed by stuff to do but it would be nice not to forget this particular issue.

Hope that this finally works

Cheers!!!:)

Do you have a new release with new material? Otherwise you're wasting both your time and ours, since you were given an answer back in July.

I am asking again due to a Split release with ShadowGrave and FOG, two bands that are enlisted here. It's predominantly metal enough. So maybe I think that this stuff fits in your rules:)

Cheers!!!

Just a quick suggestion, BlackOne: include some links so the mods don't have to go Googlin' for your stuff. It makes things easier for everyone, as mods will be more inclined to check your shit out faster if you have links ready to be clicked.

These are the two songs for the split. As I said the other two bands(Shadowgrave & Fog) are enlisted here.

Cheers!!!

I would want to have valid motivations of this rejection

Why was band Fire to Fields blacklisted?

Official released cd:
http://www.raig.ru/firetofields.asp

Songs:
http://firetofields.bandcamp.com/
http://vk.com/firetofields

It's not sludge/doom metal?

Why the Italian band Ravenscry has been rejected? They have a physical release and their sound has metalness (in fact they have a very crunchy sound in the guitars for being gothic metal)

Hi, been trying to add Those Who Lie Beneath since it's been blacklisted, these guys sound metal enough to be on this site, listen to their new EP, Antichrist
http://thosewholiebeneath.bandcamp.com/ ... ichrist-ep

They also had one physical release, called An Awakening, which it's being sold in Amazon, so it's a proof it actually exists physically, as you can see in the format
http://www.amazon.com/Awakening-Those-W ... B002MXA7T2

Waiting for a mod to remove them from the blacklist, I hope you can reconsiderate your opinion.

Cheers

Why has Red Lamb (USA) been blacklisted? Genre seems metal to me. Probably because no album had been released back then and it was submitted repeatedly?

See http://www.amazon.com/Red-Lamb/dp/B007BTGB74/ and listen to http://www.redlambofficial.com/music/

Thanks

The logs/notes say:

Fire to Fields: Sludge [note: I'm assuming he means more on the hardcore end than the sludge/doom one... Alhadis, do you remember?]
Scarlet Hollow: I've heard heavier from the Celtic Women.
Red Lamb: "Alternative Metal"

No notes about Ravenscry, Those Who Lie Beneath, sorry.

After previous contact with the former band member Ivan Vee, from Хлад, I have found out that he has no plan to ever release any physical copy of his music, and I added that to the submission. My chances have run out, and I know for sure that Хлад is real. Is this really it?

I attempted to submit Runnica, and it was rejected. I provided at least one picture of a physical medium. I provided an official site. I provided their current label and members, and all albums that have been released so far. What am I missing?

When the picture is not a real picture but something created digitally, it's not going to work. I couldn't find the album on any of Nitroatmosfericum's sites. Provide a link to that.

The majority of the songs found at your Facebook and ReverbNation pages were as you describe it Alfa Rock, which I also wrote in the rejection.

Well it says that:

"Core. Not a metal band; does not belong on Encyclopaedia Metallum. Please read our rules next time to see what qualifies as metal."

Please review our submission rules before trying to re-submit it.

Keep in mind that all modifications are logged; if this band has been rejected before, the moderators will know, so do not try to resubmit without revising your submission.

If you want to object to this rejection, please do so in the appropriate thread in the "Suggestions and Complaints" sub-forum.

So I just want to tell that INSIDE I is indeed metal. More like Melodeath/Metalcore but certainly more metal than core. Just listen to this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IFIFYJbvBs. You will sure hear some deathcore oriented moshparts but for the mosrt, this is melodic Death Metal. Period.

The whole album isn't available on stream so this is about what you'll get but virtually everyone who review this album describes them as metal, just see for yourself:

http://www.lordsofmetal.nl/en/reviews/view/id/23396

http://www.cmdistro.com/Item/Inside_I_- ... rcus/44155

So Please, let me upload the band let us be done with it.

There really should be a rule for being too bad. This is hilarious!
And I don't mean "bad" music, I mean bad song writing. Or better make that "song writing".

After looking through the READ FIRST POST. I am unsure as to why DEI AEMETH(united states would be black listed)

Please help. Dei Aemeth just released Apotheosis via Swimming With Sharks Records December 14th.

It says "no physical release", I'm assuming the band kept being resubmitted by an idiot. So they have a CD? The "Swimming With Sharks" label appears to link to Bandcamp MP3s only?

Well, the entire point of objecting to a rejection is to rise the subject once more and I repeat myself: INSIDE I is a Melodic Death Metal band, strongly influenced by the Gothenburg sound that adds the odd mosh part in order to spice their music. I Have no Idea why they were rejected on the first place but honest, is the following song metal or not ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnPgACn_KJo

It's pure Gothenburg style plain and simple (listen to the passage at 1,30 for example)

I can tell, I saw them live together with their labelmate of HATERIAL (http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Haterial/3540341638) and INSIDE I weren't the most core of the two.

I understand the fact that the whole album not being on stream, might be in fact more core than Metal but just look at all the review I submitted on my previous post: All of them are unanimous, INSIDE I does Metal, and none of them even use the word "core". Damn, even Season of Mist describes it as MeloDeath: http://e-shop.season-of-mist.com/en/bands/inside-i/8658

So Please, one last time, would you consider changing your decision and if not, why ? As simple as that.

Dude. Give it up. You've been given your answer - twice now. Okay? Season of Mist can describe the music as brutal thrash metal and it still won't make a difference. Labels use all sorts of descriptors to sell their music, and the term "melodeath" is obviously going to sell a lot better to the metal scene than the dreaded "metalcore" word is.

Now to be fair, the music did have fairly prominent melodic death sections, but the majority of it was padded out by long djenty sections that pretty much dominated the songwriting. You can argue otherwise, but this site has to draw a careful line around the wretched "-core" territory, and it just so happens to be that this band is sitting too closely to the fence for us to feel comfortable admitting it to the site.

This is your final answer. Please accept our decision and move on.

Well, thanks for the fairness. I will wait until they release something much more devoid of djent/core before trying again (if ever).

So, I wanted to add Nocturnal Bloodlust, a Japanese band, since I searched for them and didn't find them here. The message about them being blacklisted appear and I was wondering why, maybe it's because of their sound, but I'm still kind of confused. I read the rules and I hope that you could tell me why it was rejected or blacklisted so that I know when I want to add a band in the future. Thanks and great site btw.

The blacklist says that Nocturnal Bloodlust is deathcore. I'm guessing that means the core type of deathcore, rather than the death type.
