Currently playing Becoming the Archetype's debut "Terminate Damnation". Awesome metal with lots of sweet riffs and solos. I'm not sure what I'd classify them as. The interludes/tempo shifts and the Dan Seagrave artwork say proggy melodeath, while the the constant Death-worshipping leads, Verb the Noun band name and the fact that all of the members have short hair say metalcore/deathcore. Regardless, they are sweet. Would recommend this band to anybody who wanted a cool band that represented the 2000s metal scene. Very theatrical and exciting at times.

Sonne Adam - I Sing His Words

Beats the shit out of that Maveth album I was streaming a couple days back; the riffs here are actually memorable, and the atmosphere is far more effective. The vocals are a big surprise too; they're... intelligible.
