metaldiscussor666, could you please stop editing your posts because you didn't like the reply you got? That's lame and annoying. Either do or don't, but stick with what you're posting.

Also, yes, you do whine a lot about trivial crap.

Speaking of whining about trivial crap, I was just complaining to my friend how much of a pain in the ass it is to download from hosters that are not Mediafire or Rapidshare. I get back to my download and this is my captcha:

...For that smiley? There can't be a "new" fuck, because fuck is one of the most perfect words ever imagined. It can perfectly encapsulate such a wide range of emotional depth. It can't be improved on.

I'm slowly becoming a fan. Awesome band which seems to never run out of ideas and are able to do absolutely anything, be it monolithic drone, very heavy sludge or stoner, noise, hardcore or even pop among other styles. It shows these guys are quite comfortable with each other, that they have a perfect chemistry.

And I love the energy too. The drummer beats the shit of his drumkit with cool beats, the guitarist always has good riffs and solos with a lot of feel, and the bassist has a nice symbiose with the drummer, compliments very well the guitarist and his passionate in the vocal department. They seem like an incredily band to experience live and I envy you! hehe

This one is amazing.

Awesome, man. They came to my hometown and I was completely oblivious. I only heard about it later because when I was buying Smile on vinyl and the dude who sold it to me asked me if I saw them last week or whatever. Really need to stay on top of who's playing shows, there's been a few times were awesome bands have come and I've been oblivious. Boris are awesome, some stuff I'm not that big on, but most of their stuff is great. That Altar album with Sunn O))) (buy far one of the best packaging I've ever seen for a vinyl release) is stunning.

I was gonna ban metaldiscussor for the post he just removed himself.

It was something like : "I swear I'm not kidding, I wonder if girls care about the size of their dump as much as boys".

This is not a joke.

Well, he at least made sure to preface it with "This isn't a complaint, I SWEAR". The fact that he had the presence of mind to erase the post may show some glimmering hope of improvement?

Not for nothin', but didn't the "One post per day" enforcement eventually turn an unbearable SonsofLillith into a highly ignorable Det_Morketal(sp)? I think whoever initiated that punishment may have really been onto something.

Altar is legit, but it's a terrible starting album. It's not Boris-y enough.

Just do Pink. It's a supernova and the most varied and has their drone/post-rock/psychedlia all in one package.

Akuma no uta or the first Heavy rocks would probably be great starting points for Boris, they are a bit more accessible then some of their other albums and also two of their best, Pink might not be the best starting point due to how noisy many of the songs are so I wouldn't really recommend it as a starting point although its one of their best albums. I have this pink boris shirt, tis manly as fuck.

The thing about metaldiscussor isn't that he makes an unbearably large amount of posts, it's that he makes up for it by injecting each one with five times as much stupid as your average Sons0fLilith, MutantClannfear, or pbsisbad post. You can't tell him to stop posting so frequently, or else when he does post the forum will cringe and die of massive exposure to autism.

Hm, that's true. Also, if Oogboog did have imaginary friends, he'd probably make accounts for them anyways, with names like "oogboogfan" and "shecameforoogboog".

(Cookie for anyone who gets the reference made in that second username.)

As an art student, many of my classes were in studios, and so did not have exams at all. I do have one tomorrow, but Im not remotely worried.

Speaking of, since I know some of you like my scribblings, here's a drawing I did for one of those classes: Chairs in spaaaaaace

Another: I fucking love Cheerios

(Neither of these was done with anything other than your standard 2B pencil. Fuck charcoal!)

Wow that Cheerios one is kind of fucking amazing. The texturing at the top of the box where the light source hits it is really really impressive.

Thank you; I'm quite proud of that thing. It's the largest drawing I've done to date, and by far the most detailed.

EDIT: The texturing on the box is not technically drawn in. Because I did it in 2B pencil, the only way to get things that dark was to shade it very hard. The effect, seeing as its graphite, is that the box becomes a very glossy surface in the drawing. It reflects light as you get closer to it in well lit rooms, making the box a bit more dynamic. It was an unintended effect, but it makes for nice photos.

EDIT2: I'd just like to say this: Ever tried to foreshorten 200 pieces of fucking cereal AND convey the detail on each individual piece? It's fucking hard.
