I don't think that makes much sense. If by default you end up listening and liking shitty metal music, that shouldn't make you a poser, right? So wouldn't it rather be anybody who pretends to like trve music just to fit in, but goes back home and listens to trivium/slipknot in the privacy of his room?

I put off listening to Dopethrone for a long time, I really need a vicious stabbing for that fact.

I think that was the first Electric Wizard album I listened to. The title track is definitely one of my favourite doom songs of all time.

I cannot get into Electric Wizard for the life of me. I mean, I like my fair share of doom, from Saint Vitus, to Candlemass, Paradise Lost and even goddamn Catacombs and Reverend Bizarre, but EW I find to be so..... Plodding. Their music seems to never go anywhere.

Me thinks Electric Wizard is more about the feeling you get listening to them.. I only listen to them in certain circumstances, mostly at night. Listening to Electric Wizard while sleep deprived is amazing.
