Figured i'd try in this section first as it's a non metal related subject, but does anyone remember or have the board game Hero Quest? i used to have it, i looked at my folks place and couldnt find it, so i was hoping to track another copy down, preferably with all the figures & peices. I can trade vinyls and cds or give me a price.

Just wondering, has this got anything to do with a tv series called The Strange Calls? If so, you're a legend.

I used to have it and loved it, it was a great game. My older brother got it and I was young at the time but we played it together.

Try eBay..? Chances are fairly slim that you'll have any luck here. I had it as a kid too, but it's long gone. Or try a more recent but similar game called Descent: Journeys in the Dark. It's rated quite highly, that will probably be one of my next board game acquirements.

All the boxed games/starter sets (ie heroquest, spacequest, both releases of spacehulk) go for quite a bit if they are in good condition.....possibly due to the fact that so many peoples parents chucked them out when their kids left home.

I'[d advise you to try on the buy/sel/swap forum on the wargamerau website, but you cant access it unless you have "veteran member" status on the site (100+ posts).

Maybe try gumtree?

 In my case it was the elf's sword. He had a short dagger afterwards.

My family set has somehow managed to survive intact. I used to love playing as the barbarian, leading the party into the unknown. As for being for sale, sorry, but no chance!

I haven't got it but you've gotta be careful getting a North American version as it's a bit different to the EU version.

Oh yeah, get the American version. The European one is wimpy, all monsters have only one health point.

I remember reading that the German version of space crusade replaced all the chaos marines with robots, because killing people is not smiled upon as entertainment for children in Deutschland these days

My copy is sitting next to my right now, oddly enough. Great game, but I never had any luck finding any of the expansion packs. From what I can gather, it seems to still be a popular game. Perhaps they will do a re release someday (doubtful though).
