Great song from a killer album!

Now Playing:
Woods of Infinity - Here Comes That Lonely Night

Sad that this is the last release by this band, but a great song to end it with!

Midas Touch - Presage of Disaster

First time listening to this cool tech thrash obscurity, which I snagged off eBay for one dollar. :D Reminds me of later Deathrow.

Woods of Ypres - Modern Life is Architecture

Really enjoying the album - the lyrical themes veer wildly from being really deep to almost alarmingly simple, but I'll probably survive, considering the beauty which runs through the whole album.

For The God Below from (2012) Shining - Redefining Darkness.
What a monster of a song! LOVE the vocals by this fucking clown called Niklas Kvarforth!
Lyrics:

Quote:
Ever since birth I've been
Attracted to the sinister
All the malignant, cruel forces of the world
Yet at times I've been mislead by her opposite
And it is with great shame
I acknowledge these mistakes

Father... who art not in heaven
Hear my cries of true remorse
To let a mortal being ever coincide with thou
Must be punished by a fate worse than death

I find comfort in sadness and in grief
Thinking of all those beautiful
Things that could have been
Now put me in a position where
I would have to choose
My devotion to evil will always
Come before you

For countless days and countless nights
I've been wandering these
Worn-down streets all alone
And it is in there angstridden moments
I find nutrition for my starving

Misanthropic soul

I find comfort in sadness and in grief
Thinking of all those beautiful
Things that could have been
Now put me in a position where
I would have to choose
My devotion to evil will always
Come before you

No matter what you do
No matter what you say
Whoever you may pray

Christianity worldwide
Satanas worldwide

Mayhem - A Wise Birthgiver, off Ordo ad Chao

Bought this thing blindly yesterday, based on a weird impulse. It's..... Rather unsettling. Don't now what to make of it for now.

Hittman - Will You Be There

When heaps of cheese, ridiculous 80s pompousness, gunshot drums, and a Geoff Tate dead ringer meet, they make one of the most entertaining power ballads ever. Still love it.

Manowar - Achilles, Agony and Ecstasy in Eight Parts

What a hit-and-miss song. All the fucking soloing breaks it up and stops it dead - that's NOT how you do an epic. But damn, when this song is on, it's dead fucking on.

Plague and Fyre is awesome, but I like Devil's Deadly Weapon, Blasphemy and the Master and On Earth As It Is In Hell better. But the whole album is first rate.

Hell - The Quest

Rockin, upbeat NWOBHM.
