I've been going through some very hard times in my life, and this music seems to resonate with me. Can't stop listening to it. It really is the soundtrack for autumn/winter here in the north. So HEAVY. I think it's a huge step up from their two previous full-lengths. Every song is catchy but not in expense of heaviness and atmosphere. Genius Loqi has got to be my song of the year so far. Very sad and bleak. Have any of you bought this so far?

Great review! I like those weird, drunken vocals too. There's this effect used in them, that not everyone is going to like. But I like it. I think there's similar aura to this FotI record than is found in Mana Mana. Well, they've been heavily influenced by Mana Mana, at least in the past, so that's really no surprise. It's at the same time very mournful but also warm and relaxing. Like observing a cold winter day in the comfort of your own home. Of course there are other records, that are also like that, but it doesn't take anything away from FotI.
