There's this blog on Tumblr that posts all this awesome music. This is the link: http://fuckyeahhipsterblackmetal.tumblr.com/

There's a band on it called Celephais and another one called Feigur.

I know Agalloch, Ulver's first album, Nest, Alcest and Burzum's post-prison albums have a somewhat similar sound. What are more similar bands?

Thanks.

Also, that vocal recording pic confirmed what I suspected: SLK records shirtless in a sweaty caveman-like delirium. You can almost hear the man stink in the recordings.

You can always check my own band!

http://forestfather.bandcamp.com/

We have post-black stuff, folklore elements and some fairly aggressive moments too!

You might like Skagos, I would recommend starting out with their first full-length, Ast.

Great, thanks guys.

Altar of Plagues, for some reason, I didn't enjoy so much. There does seem to be a lot of nice stuff though produced by the other bands. It's just something about Altar of Plagues.

You could also try Lifelover, newer Drudkh and newer Negura Bunget.

Ved Buens Ende - Written in Waters

Maybe the first album that could be considered post-black metal? Really great.
