I stumbled over this one:

http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Divanity/Seven_Bodies_in_One_Grave/314417

Divanity Seven Bodies in One Grave Demo August 24th, 2011
Lifemare Seven Bodies in One Grave Demo August 24th, 2011
The Knell Seven Bodies in One Grave Demo August 24th, 2011

Three entries? I am a bit confused. Why not a split?

This solution seems alright to me. What's confusing? The notes are clear.

Making this into a split would really complicate matters. It's only one track and we can't credit more than one band for a song. Every solution I can think of would be messier. Suggestions welcome, of course.

Everything except the triplet would disappear since it's not linked to a track. And in this case I think it would throw up an error because that "band" isn't in the database.

I just checked with a split that I added recently and all the stuff that was non-MA did not appear in the link above the image. The same would happen here.

Seems like it is something that might be fixed in the future.

Yeah, that's a known issue. But in this case the main problem is that you've got only "X / Y / Z" linked with the one song. The rest are floating in limbo, most importantly the "original" band. I just checked, it says "At least one band on this split release must be on the site." if you hit save. Naturally.

You could make a dummy track for the "original" band, but you'd also have to make ones for the other two or else they would be purged upon saving and the split wouldn't show up on their pages. As I said, messy.
