Nice! I've always loved that track. Eerie and evil as all hell. Casus Luciferi is a great album all-around.

Great wake-up. Intense but mellow.

I listened to (2010) Skagos & Panopticon - Skagos & Panopticon Split various times yesterday.

Gauaren Babes Tenkian Burdibagaz Haraindi (In the Tight Cover Of the Night, Somewhere Behind Burdibagaz) from (2011) Ilbeltz - Anceisural Eritance - Hanternoz - D'Anjou En Vasconie - La Très Grande Chasse D'Hellequin.
Fucking Ibai! He made it AGAIN!
Beautiful, epic, powerful, soulful,...

Execration - The First Death

I don't agree with the review here on MA. This album is excellent. A unique blend of brutal tech death with tinges of black metal elements. Great atmosphere of space and evil, but most of all is continual blistering fast riffing and enough creative technicality to enhance the pounding brutality.

right fucking on! My favorite Bolt Thrower song. The lyrics about automated killing techniques are the icing on a cake of sheer massiveness!

One of my favourites too - It's got the kind of riff which is so crushing that it has to be measured in PSI.

NP: Enslaved - Death in the Eyes of Dawn

The review is progressing slowly. I keep enjoying the songs too much to look at them analytically.

Something about that album is just really good. I listen to it and it just feels like a cut above most other brutal slam death metal. Extra dark sounding, perhaps because of the ultra low bass.

Kuxan Suum - Principle Of Harmonic Resonance

I don't understand all the hate USBM gets. There are some good acts here in the states, especially those involved with Black Twilight Circle.

I love The Forsaken album. One of the best black metal records to come out in a long time.

Urban Breed might be my favourite high baritone singer. Guy's really got really charisma in his voice.
