"Dar De Duh" till has to grow on me, it's definitely good, and way better than the Negura Bunget post-split album, but the rather repetitive build-up of the songs makes it difficult for me to keep listening attentively until the end.

Fear Factory - Mechanize

Better than The Industrialist. Better than Demanufacture. Fear Factory bought out their best work in Mechanize, a pounding album with Burton's best cleans and music that I don't think they can top. Fantastic album. The first half especially rips.

Darkspace - Dark 3.14

Amazing sculptures in sound. Frozen, devoid of life, but full of colour and majesty.

You have the best descriptions, man. But yeah, Dark Space III is solid from start to finish. That riff that fades the album out is so awesome. I look forward to IV!

About 4 people on this site would enjoy this, heh. Tech-death randomness but something I enjoy from time to time (this album is tough to take on multiple listens or too frequently).

Damn. Throughout this twelve minute bruiser, there is a insidious melody, quietly haunting the background underneath the very weighty and meaty guitars. Verdunkeln though, I'm pleased to say, still retain that feeling of channeling the post punk movement of the eighties, which works with fantastic results.

Listening to the radio at work. Apparently they have a "Metallica in the Morning" segment. Cool song, I've always thought it was the standout track on TBA.

Musta Surma - Usvan Lapset

This is off rhe '97 demo, which according to a review is vastly superior to following Musta Surma material. I don't know if it's that much better, but this is very good still. Reminds me of Vitsaus, especially the drumming.

Sounds a lot like Kraanium, and since the guitarist from Kraanium plays in this band, it makes sense. The riffs sound straight off of Post Coital Fixation. Filthy, sick slam grooves. (hat tip to morguelord for turning me on to this)
