I'm looking for any kind of music about the aforementioned lyrical themes. Since I'm hoping for it to be metal (of eny genre), I'm posting it in here, but really, it can be any genre. The music should accompany the lyrics by having a general fast-paced theme, but it doesn't have to. A good example of lyrics are by a band, Nitrous, on their album Outlaw Racer: "120 miles per hour, you push for more. Behind the complacent smile, about to fall on the floor."

Dude, you need to listen to Zeke. The albums "Death Alley" and "Super Sound Racing" in particular. Blazing fast punk rock n roll with killer solos. Super Sound isn't as fast as Death Alley as it was one of their first albums. The album Flat Tracker has a bunch of songs about fast cars etc. too.

This is pretty much the only reason the band Motorjesus exists. Their songs are pretty much all about cars and such.

Great recs guys! Zeke is pretty awesome, Motorjesus is my favorite, and 502 was a great song!

Strong Arm Of The Law by Saxon and Breaking The Law by Judas Priest are probably the two most obvious songs about cops, SAOTL happens to feature cops pulling people over and busting them for (I'm guessing) possession of drugs or something.

1,320 by Megadeth is about drag racing, but not as good a song as 502. Saxon's Wheels of Steel album would be applicable as well. Also, D.R.I. - Beneath the Wheel

DRI - Beneath the wheel has nothing to do with racing. The music video is about some metalhead in class and the lyrics are about school and how we are just like sheep in the system etc. Have you even heard the song?

I will second Wheels of Steel though. Great album.

I did read the lyrics, but haven't seen the video. I knew I should have put "at a push" afterwards... They can be interpreted that way! Especially if you ignore the verses like I seemed to do.

White zombie has songs about hot rods and speeding. Listen to "black sunshine" off of "la sexorcisto...". That album takes me back to high school...
