Looking for anything in the epic heavy metal vein. Really especially looking for Manilla Road worship.

What I like:
-the unique vocals (definitely a plus!)
-guitar wizardry, really great riffs
-the "Manowar beat" style of drums (you know what I'm talking about, Bathory really used this in their viking metal stuff)
-basically everything

Bands I already thoroughly enjoy in this style include...
Atlantean Kodex, Cirith Ungol, Dark Quarterer, Hellwell, Holy Martyr, Hooded Priest , Ironsword, Manowar

Brocas Helm (and Cirith Ungol, a bit) did not appeal to me, Slough Feg is kinda mixed and DoomSword I didn't dig at all.

I don't know if you'll like this, but I'll recommend Warlord guitarist Bill Tsamis' 90s band, Lordian Guard. You may like them, because they are great epic heavy metal. However, they bear no resemblance to Manilla Road, or any of the other bands you mentioned. Lordian Guard really has a sound of its own. You mentioned unique vocals, well LG vocalist Viddone has very unique vocals. As for the music, It's not the heaviest or darkest out there, but I think the two best words to describe it are "epic" and "majestic."

Here are my favorite Lordian Guard songs:

Lordian Guard - War in Heaven
Lordian Guard - Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God
Lordian Guard - Winds of Thor

And Speaking of Warlord, they have reunited and are finishing up a new album, which is supposed to come out early next year. In March they posted a demo of one of the songs, Night of the Fury:

Warlord - Night of the Fury

This song has a similar character in Lordian Guard in the epicness, I think it's really great, and can't wait for the album. Bill has said it sounds a lot different now, but I have no idea what he means by that. If you want to keep up with the current Warlord happenings, join the Warlord fan club on facebook: Warlord Battle Choir. Bill Tsamis posts on there a lot.

Sleipnir, a little unheard of British viking metal band. They sound like something between Manowar and Bathory.

Check out Battleroar from Greece. They seem to be along the lines of what you want.

There is also Sacred Blood from Greece which is quite epic but they may have too much of a power metal sound for you.

Longings Past should appeal to you, they're quite a bit like Manilla Road mixed with some Rush at times. I recommend listening to both albums.

Legend's "From the Fjords" is an older epic heavy metal piece from 1979, it's sort of like a mix of epic heavy metal, classic hard rock, and 70s progressive rock.

Seconding Longings Past, probably the best band in that vein. There's a handful of other good bands in the style - namely Battle Ram, Solitary Sabred, Dragon's Lair, Coven (the heavy/doom one) Valkyrie (the Dutch one), and Wotan (their first demo only). You might also like Full Moon, although it has a lot of space rock in it.

There are also a number of epic power metal bands; I'm not sure if that would appeal to you as much but go ahead and check out the following if you haven't heard them: Stormbringer (Illinois), Twisted Tower Dire (Crest of the Martyrs only), Omen, Wizard (Ger), and Virgin Steele.
