Well the first half of the song didn't completely suck and the production is a lot cleaner, they're still a terrible band but they show some potential as with every release. I might check this out if they can pull out a few more decent openers like that, but knowing the band the release will fall apart after the fourth or so song.

Well then, that was mediocre. Which is weird, I have vague memories of Malignancy being a pretty good band. Then again, I couldn't tell you what a single one of their riffs sounds like so it could be a case of me having terrible taste a few years ago. Either way, this is lame. Nonsensical riffs and pinch harmonics with a dime a dozen vocalist.

I have to say I love their last album Inhuman Grotesqueries (2007) and this isn't as good as that. Hopefully the rest of the album is closer to what they did before. This song has it's moments - I actually like the 2nd half of the song better than the opening - but my first inclination is to say that the band has done a lot of drugs since 2007 :(

Hmmm seems pretty average for what's normally a pretty good band. Really could have benefited by dropping down into slams for more than a few seconds at a time. Constantly fast, riff salad brutal death metal is awfully played out by now (wasn't it 10 years ago?).

I liked it but it was def not the Malignancy I remember. I remembered more slams and constant pinch harmonics. I'm sure if this is better than old but I def enjoyed old more so immediately.

Hmmm, yeah I rather enjoyed Intrauterine Cannibalism but this didn't really blow me away. Not bad, but kinda meh. The production isn't as grimey as what suits the band.

I agree with SLK. There seem to be not enough pinch harmonics (which is the main reason I enjoy Malignancy). Also no true slams makes this song rather boring.

Intrauterine Cannibalism and the Motivated By Hunger EP are the best material. The demo comp is goods too.

Didn't like Inhuman Grotesqueries.

I could not be more in love with the guitar work.

I have no idea what happened with that first track, but I'm really liking the second preview track. Sounds a lot more like Inhuman Grotesqueries.

That second song has made me so happy that I pre-ordered it, along with them sweatpants.

Nice! That second song is sick. Love the riffing guitars so much.

Oh, I agree. I can't get enough of this stuff. I don't understand the criticisms of this music. I think they're brilliant. This should easily be one of my favorite albums of the year, perhaps more.
