I thought it's the best song and sound I've heard from you guys. for real. It's solid as fuck and sounds great.

If I was going to bitch about anything would be the riff and blasting section around 3:15.... ends way too fucking soon. it could go on at least 4 times the amount you played it.

I kind of like those type of riffs that are played briefly and makes you want to hear it more. Fills a purpose, doesn't it? You listen to the song again.

it's almost like that but I honestly don't remember the riff. just the section of blasting more so. And it doesn't inspire me to listen again at least not for that one part. I just felt as a whole the song was kicking into high gear and then it did very briefly. it's not the riff that made me feel that but actually the blasting underneath.

I use riffs like that in different bands but they are played enough times that they are remembered.

Thanks for the kind words SLK :) Anyway, the riff you refer to during 3:15 onwards is actually the same riff at 3:05-ish onwards. Played for 4 bars, the first half bar without the 2nd guitar. It also repeats itself, underneath the second solo. I guess that's why my vocalist(who writes everything) didn't want to use it any more for the rest of the track.

I can see his point, but like I was saying it's more of the feel and the actual more straightfoward blasting that I enjoyed than the actual riff which like I kinda said I didn't even pick up on. the video was pretty entertaining. It's funny that he is smiling the entire time just about.

Unless we receive sufficient attention, probably not dude :/. Locally the scene is laughable and we'd only lose a ton of cash if we pressed copies which no one would buy. I still have boxes of unsold copies of the full-length collecting dust in my house. I think we've sold a total of what, 30 copies at most? The woes of a part-time band with no proper support.

Oh no, CDBaby works by getting bands to send them physical CDs first, and then they ship it out to whoever buys them on the artist profile, kinda like a promotion/distribution middleman. If they've run out they'll ask us to send them more. I haven't been keeping track but I'm pretty sure they still have several copies(it's not like we're the hottest selling band on this side of anywhere :/)

The single or the full length, Porman? Both are readily available on the CDBaby link :) Even the comparably amateurish EP is!

Not really my style but it's alright. I think you need to tune down the drums and give them a deeper and "bassier" sound to them.

Yeah that was one little consideration. A Piccolo snare was used and it isn't easy to downplay the trebly attack that results.

Just a little bump. Starting work on the recording process soon for the sophomore full-length, check out the single guys! None of the songs on this release will be included on the full-length.

SLK, Porman, did the links work for you guys?

Nice song. The piccolo snare is fine, but I would work on getting more "click" from the bass drum, so it's more audible. It adds a nice touch to blast beast when you have a clicky kick. As for the guitars, the tone is nice but they lack some clarity, I would say turn down the gain a touch and don't cut so much midrange. That'll keep the heaviness while making it clearer, and the guitars will stand out more.

Thanks for the feedback! We actually didn't want much click from the kicks and kept the guitar tone this way so as to get a dirtier, OSDM sound. I agree about clarity, but hey, sometimes something's gotta give :D

Ahhhh, okay. To help with the osdm sound, maybe add some reverb to the vocals. Bands back then always seemed to use just a little too much of it, haha.

On the title track(which I also posted up here before), there were many comments about the vocals having TOO much reverb actually. But thanks for the contructive feedback, all this will be kept in mind when we approach the 2nd album.
