I wonder why Praying Mantis (UK) is blacklisted band for Encyclopaedia Metallum?
Originally achieving acclaim as part of the NWOBHM movement, they play melodic hard rock (is that a reason?)
I think there is something to keep from oblivion -
Bobby "Angelo" Sawyer, Paul Di'Anno, Clive Burr and Dennis Stratton from IRON MAIDEN were a part of Praying Mantis for some time...
There are heavy metal influences in their music even later too, so...
What's your view?

Many, many and more bands can be blacklisted also by that norm, criterion or whatever but they did not... Poor reason...
And Praying Mantis is NEUTRON STAR HEAVY band for them

Always use search before asking about a blacklisted band. Search for Praying Mantis and you should find some answers
