Demolition Hammer - Epidemic of Violence

I am 100% convinced that it is impossible to sit still while listening to this. Never have been able to, never will be able to. It sets off some dormant part of the brain that makes you wanna start destroying shit.

Angra - Temple of Shadows

I maintain that Brazil's achievements in power metal in the 21st century have surpassed any other country's/continent's. :)

Vreid - Jarnbyrd

Vreid is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine.

I've been on something of a Type O binge today. I forgot how much they rule.

Muknal - Rotten Genesis

Yes, I like this and will buy it or course. To hell with the naysayers. Reminds a bit more of Grave Miasma than the "only Incammolation is real" crowd would have you believe, and the link between Grave Miasma and Incammolation is that they both play heavy, and, at times atmospheric death metal. And that's it.

Paradox - Collision Course, off Collision Course

Been listening to this band a lot since I discovered it last week. Badass power/thrash with sweet technical flairs, and they got quite the consistent discography to boot. Will probably become one of my favorites.

IT'S A COLLISION COURSE!! :np:

Theatre of Tragedy - Senseless

Not a bad little song from a fairly decent album. Still prefer their earlier death/doom stuff, though.

Kanye West-My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

I think my love for metal has disappeared. I'm hoping it's just a phase. Meanwhile, I'm discovering the wonders of non-metal genres that I missed the past 4 years.

Haven't heard that one but I dig Electrify. They're not a GREAT band aside from the debut, but they have a very unique sound on that album.

Glad to see other people besides me are into Paradox :-D

Symphony X - Dressed To Kill, off The Damnation Game

Awesome song, from a very underrated album regarding this particular band. I also love the way Russell sounds here; definitely young, but packing a ton of power (as usual), and he also goes for more high notes than in later material.

Devin Townsend Project - Supercrush!

Been listening to Addicted partially out of anticipation for Epicloud. Seems like it's gonna be a killer album, seeing as I do like his catchier approach that you can hear on this song.

Testament - Man Kills Mankind

Really catchy, especially the vocals - it reminds me of a cross between Perilous Nation and Electric Crown, although it's a great song in it's own right.

Black Sabbath - The Battle of Tyr / Odin's Court / Valhalla, off Tyr

This suite is nothing short of magical. A pinnacle in Black Sabbath's discography, and one of the many zeniths Tony Iommi as a songwriter has reached throughout the years. Glorious.

I'm listening to Sabbath, too. Put all my Sabbath songs on shuffle. Right now it's on Hand Of Doom.

Honesty I find ''The Battle of Tyr'' to be a bit useless, but the transition from ''Odin's Count'' to ''Valhalla'' is awesome.

"The End Of Our Time" -

Just the same as every Neo-Crust band in the past decade, but I do love this stuff.

I agree, its been on constant rotation the past week or so. Because unfortunately I can relate to the lyrics at the moment. Heads up for the youngsters around here....don't go through a divorce.

Edit: a better way of saying that is if/when you get married be very careful. It's very easy to take your s/o for granted.
