I keep getting this message when I try to upload an image.
(EDIT: to this forum, not the site database.)

Is there any way to get around this quota?

I mean, I know what the problem is (too many pictures uploaded to the forum, most likely). I guess I was trying to politely ask for a solution.

Well, I was going to attach an image on the Latest Album Purchases thread yesterday. This didn't work, but I noticed other users had posted images when I clicked submit. So it seems not everyone is getting this message.

Well, not exactly. Those people are linking to images that they're uploading to a website like Imageshack or Photobucket, not directly to the forum. The problem is universal.

I link to TinyPic now instead of posting attachments because of this
Edit: Ignore this post, I forgot about the "img" button

I've removed attachments.

Allow me to explain the reasoning for this. With attachments, every file you upload takes up space on the server. A photo alone can be quite large, and can very quickly add up when it comes to space and bandwidth - that can act poorly on the rest of the site. The forum by default had a low attachment quota, and that's why you kept getting those errors. With sites like imgur and imageshack which exist for the purposes of hosting files, it makes more sense to remove our ability to upload and attach files on this forum and to rely on those services instead.

hi Derigin, thanks for the update, maybe you could change the note to say they have been disabled?
it's just that it looks like a site error, which it isn't

edit: ha ha yeah or you could just do that
