I was just lowering the action on my brother's Lag acoustic there, and I immediately went and broke the G string right after, because I'm a massive twit.

So anyway, this guitar is quite weird for an acoustic, it's got a string-through bridge made of wood, no bridge pins at all. My brother had a set of .13's on it, which don't seem to want to come back out. Any way I can get them out without breaking the guitar?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I feel really bad about fucking up the only guitar of his that doesn't already need a full setup.

Damnit, not what I wanted to hear, now my brother only has his crappy acoustic and his dinky with ancient strings. that've sunk the trem. Thanks anyway!

I figure what happened is the tension of heavy strings pulled and grooved the ball of the strings into the wooden bridge. At least now I know not to buy a string-through acoustic.
