I think Fabio Leone will be continuing with them on this tour. They'll keep him around until the next writing sessions where they'll inevitably decide on a new frontman. As of now they have no replacement set.

I kind of want to see Nightwish live. We'll see.

YES. Screw Epica, I was planning on seeing them the following month... But this is much better. Very happy.

I'd love to check this out but it'd be even more awesome if a tour with these two bands had happened in 2005 instead of 2012.

I agree, it would have been much better to see this tour back in 2k5, but I think they will put on a great show. I am tempted to go to the Warfield show in SF if I can get some buddies to go with me, I think it would be super fun! I kind of wish they were playing in Vegas though, because I saw them at the Mandalay Bay Hotel Las Vegas some years back, and those Las Vegas Strip Hotels are so much fun for going to concerts and just partying in general.

Well, I was already planning on swinging out to San Francisco this fall, maybe with a little additional planning I could have a pretty bitchin' week.

EDIT: Also, what Twisted_Psychology said.

If it was 2003-2004, I'd be all over this shit.

Now...not so much.

I'm going to see this tour simply because I've never had a chance to see either band before for various reasons. It ought to be an awesome show.

fuck, I hate it when they completely disregard western Canada, we get no love over here. The only band that cares about us is Iron Maiden haha

Just got back from the Philly show! Both bands had awesome sets and were on top of their game. I was extremely disappointed that Kamelot only played about seven songs, about a forty minute set. Nightwish played for almost two hours and hit on mostly newer material, with some oldies thrown in. Good show though. If anyone's is debating on going or not, I'd recommend going.

I'll be skipping the Sauget/St. Louis show then. Can't stand Nightwish and 32 bucks to see Kamelot play 7 songs isn't close to worth it.

Just make sure it's one of the dates that Nightwish is actually on for. The Pittsburgh show had Kamelot headlining, without Nightwish playing at all...

Its definately Nightwish opening. If it was a solo show I'd go despite not being tha big of a fan of their stuff post BH.

They only played two tracks from Ghost Opera & none from Poetry For the Poisoned. They also played "Sacrimony", but that's a little more in line with the older stuff. But out of seven tracks, three were post Black Halo, so slightly over half!
