The albums seems to be very self-indulgent and as you say pretentious.

yesterday being the sabbath, i went to worship and fed the real groovy coffers :metal:
there should be some more stuff in the mail too...

Biohazard ‎– Means To An End [haven't heard them for ages, it was cheap] edit: i like this
Buzzov•en ‎– Violence From The Vault [fucking awesome! i remember not liking these guys ages ago... i must get more!]
Darkthrone - The Cult Is Alive [really catchy and raw sounding, cool artwork too]
Ensoph ‎– Rex Mundi X-Ile [oh my god, wtf is this shit?! i see there's a cover of alice in chains' would? tacked on the end, which is butchered to buggery of course]
Entombed ‎– Morning Star [not bad, i find these guys a bit hit and miss, this is more hit than miss]
Iron Maiden ‎– Brave New World [i'm yet to hear this, i have high hopes] edit: this is really good
Kylesa - Spiral Shadow [cd/dvd ltd edition holographic digipak]
Manowar ‎– Fighting The World [original 1987 atco, i'm not their biggest fan really but it was a good price, i really like triumph of steel though]
Mastodon ‎– Crack The Skye [cd/dvd version, good price too]
Mastodon ‎– Remission [original issue of their first album, killer!]
Ministry ‎– Greatest Fits [another copy, it was cheap ha ha]
Nine Inch Richards ‎– Closer To Hogs [woops, i read it wrong, thought it was a single for 'closer' by NIN]
Primal Dawn - Zealot [not bad! needs another couple of listens but strong stuff, original issue]
Satyricon ‎– The Shadowthrone [original moonfog version!] edit: still original but 1999 reissue
Sonic Youth ‎– Screaming Fields Of Sonic Love [compilation of older pre-95 tunes]
Stone Temple Pilots ‎– Plush [single/ep german version]
The Almighty - The Almighty [these guys are awesome, sort of punky metally hardcore rock]
Triumphator ‎– The Ultimate Sacrifice [not bad, fairly forgettable 2 song digipak of thrashy black deathly metal]
Winter Solstice ‎– The Fall Of Rome [pretty good, the music slays it's like full on blasting death/thrash but with hardcore sort of vocals... which apparently is metalcore, i had to google them ha ha]

I think it re-press from 2000-s, the same as my copy. Some copies still available in distros. Also still available usa, brazilian and russian presses.

1999 apparently, i'll have to investigate a bit, there's no date written on it apart from when it was written/recorded [92,93,94]
oh well, it's still awesome ha ha

it looks to be this one, the matrix info etc matches
http://www.discogs.com/Satyricon-The-Shadowthrone/release/1666432

oh you saw that comment about the slipcase? :-P

It should be the 1999 reissue, there are a lot around. But it isn't remastered or anything so is a great buy anyway.

Endzeit Elegies still has a few left of both the 2LP & CD versions in stock. You can also get it signed upon request as this label is ran by The Doommonger himself. (My copy that is pictured is.)

Order from Hells Headbangers came in this morning!
Image

Satanic Warmaster -"Opferblut" (12" blue LP. I've been in dire need for some Satanic Warmaster in my collection so I couldn't pass this up!)
Darkthrone -"Transilvanian Hunger" (2011 Peaveville reissue) #1904/2000. Why I never owned this before is beyond me, but I'm so happy to have it now.)
Hellhammer -"Apocalyptic Raids" (Back on Black gatefold 180 gram clear vinyl. One step closer to owning everything Tom has done. Plus this is an amazing album!)

re-ordered Glorior Belli - The Great Southern Darkness (first time it got cancelled) and also ordered Katatonia - Night Is The New Day. I have no idea why I don't own that album yet. :/

Did you pick those up from Regimental? I bit the bullet and bought the their first two as well, I hated The Mantle and after a while of disliking the band I heard Pale Folklore and mildly enjoyed it.
